They were affilitated. Even when they were making fights with other promotional companies. GBP was right there those fighters did not need GBP if they weren't their fighters. But, they had them negotiating for them cuz they were affiliated.

Damn is not a hard concept to understand.

When did I ever claim Floyd has "zero affiliation" with GBP?

        Huh?

        Quote my post you jackass.

Now, next time do some research before co-signing to idiocy.

Pacquiao has a promotional agreement with a promotional company. Floyd doesn't!
You must not have been following it that closely then. Goosen sole purpose to make that fight was to have future fights with Floyd so he thought. Floyd bolted made smart business move. Goosen lost money and left high and dry.

so clearly "boxing historian" bert sugar knows the difference between working with a promotional company and working for a promotional company

mayweather has mayweather promotions and when he works with other promotors its like in independent label working with a major for distribution...
all fLOYDS LAST 4 fights were promoted by GBP..

                PERIOD.

what you're talking about is business...like may said he and dlh work well together....they're the 2 biggest cash cows so even though they don't like each other they make a lot of money together....

it is what it is...though some may not like floyd...the man works for himself...

bert sugar is right.....have a good one...
                  Have a good what?

I didn't say Bert was wrong, he's credible FPS, that's why I said I'm confused.

Of course he's all business (floyd with GBP), but like Jro said, Floyd had none with DiBella, Shaw, Sauerland etc. and he had with GBP was a business relationship, and who'se promotion were all of Floyd's last 4 opponents? Isn't it GBP?

So with the same premise as what Sugar said, It also applied to Floyd, coz all his last 4 we're GBP fighters.

He works with them, but technically he is NOT a GBP fighter.

That is a fact. No point in arguing otherwise.

affiliation does not mean obligated to promotionally!! hey chose GBP because Goldenboy got the results they wanted. is that so hard to understand! What so hard to get about Pacquiao signing a promotiuonal agreement and floyd hasn't as of yet.
