That was completely different circumstances, he wasn't a title holder and was willing to fight just for the Setanta money, Setanta went bust and Haye wouldn't have got paid so he pulled out of the Wlad fight. He was in negotiations with Vitali but got a better offer to fight Valuev so took that instead.

seems like 2 viable options u keep your money and I'll keep mine and split everything else down the middle. K2 wants some of that British Pound Cake the pound is worth more than the Euro.

Does Haye deserve 50/50? I'm a Haye fan, but if we're being honest Wlad is the guy to beat at Heavyweight, he has 4 belts he's the betting favourite. Does Haye want to fight? I think he wants the fight but I don't think he wants to accept less than Wlad because he would consider it a moral defeat, he wants to be on equal terms with regards to everything, he doesn't want to be just another of Wlad's victims, who gets paid peanuts and pummelled for 35 minutes.

Haye should accept the original offer, as long as it doesn't include silly rematch clauses, he should accept that Wlad is the man going into this fight so he should earn more. Haye will still make megabucks from all the other countries.

Look at all the idiots talking **** before and now they saying ''oh my bad, i didn't know'' LMAO. Typical ignorant bull**** from a bunch of idiots who talk before they know all the facts.

Now Klitschko's are the liars huh? LOL. You guys are just a bunch of idiots who should keep their opinions to themselves and quit being so gullible to everything you hear.

Did you really think Haye is backing out of fighting the Klitschko's? Why? He would make millions fighting those guys and they are not exactly unbeatable. Both have been beat and they keep on fighting useless opponents.

I am not gonna say that the Klitschko's are lying because at the end of the day if Haye wanted the fight he could have signed the contract that he was offered and vice-versa.
He is gonna fight Harrison and the British public is going to get hyped up about that fight lol and he is going to make millions again. No problems in that because that fight is the most logical fight after the Klitschko brothers in terms of revenue.

This Haye should be grateful he would be getting 50% he does not deserve that.

I'm okay with 50/50, Haye has something Klitschkos want - WBA belt - they should pay for it. But I'm not okay with Haye having K2 for a fools with this "50/50 vs Britain/Germany" crap.

I've found it amazing how quickly Haye's character has been bismirched on forums like this, based on hearsay. People really are fickle and gullible.

I suppose it depends on who you believe, I've followed Haye's career for a long time and he has always been very honest about himself, when he lost, when he was struggling with weight. Therefore I've always maintained that if he has not fought a Klitshcko it would be through no fault of his own. I still believe the fight will happen. It's obvious that the Klitschko slave contracts will have to stop though.
