That fight wasn't a tune up. Floyd tried to pass it off as a legitimate fight. It was billed "Numero One, Numero Dos". It had a 24/7.

To say that Marquez was chosen as a tune up would mean that Floyd purposely tried to con the casual public into thinking it was a legitimate, competitive fight. How exactly is that helping boxing?

of course mayweather would claim the JMM fight is going to be competitive & a war. he wants more buys u fool lol. in realty it was nothing more then a tune from a 2 year lay off. i personally see mayweather wooping JMM even worse at 135. mayweather was that much better at 135.

i don't think it's a matter of giving mayweather credit for the fight. it's looking at how the fight went & applying it to a 135 bout. i see mayweather beating JMM that much worse at 135. also JMM is a lightweight. if mayweather fights manny the same could be applied. manny is nothing more then a blown up jr. welterweight.

He knocked Diaz out after going to war with him. Diaz was bullying and stunning him in the early rounds. And this is at 135lbs. JMM had no business at weltweight. And this fight had no business taking place.
