Dont ever mention Floyd's name in the same sentence as Ali. Ali fought a prime Frazier and Foreman, not to mention the other top HW's in the division at the time. What has Floyd done that's even comparible?

It baffles me how you sport an avi of a warrior such as Morales, yet praise Floyd at the same time. Those guys are like night and day.

Until the new faces of boxing come along, and suddenly get new fanboys, but i agree, the 'Floyd Pacqiauo' saga has been the most severe case of fanboyism i have ever seen in my life.

I don't know if it would ever be to this extreme though. I just never seen 2 fighters attract so much dumbasses to the sport. I think that they have 2 of the worst boxing knowledge fan groups in the history.

Both have good fans and very knowledgeable fans. But, they also attract trolling on this site that is unbelievable. I don't know if it could ever be duplicated. I just never seen it before to this level.

I am a Pac fan but some of his fans are just too much. There are great Pac fans here and very knowledgeable Pac fans. Amazing knowledge of the game and are hell of a posters. Just like Floyd fans. But, then you have the others from both sides that are just ughhh

I think Floyd is skilled and all...but he doesn't belong in the same sentence as Ali and Morales.

Erik is one of the greatest fighters of all time...and certainly the most dominant super bantamweight we've ever seen. He's arguably a top 15 or 20 ATG, and top 5 post-world war II era.

Floyd was skilled like the best of em...but never challenged himself...save for moving up to 150+ to fight DLH...who was already a part time fighter and about 10 yrs removed from absolute prime.

I know i'll get flamed for this but floyd has continually backed out of fights with fighters that possed any type of chance against him? He never fought tony whilst he was in his prime, Cotto, mosley, p williams and now manny! I know Manny is very suspect but the others he had no excuse to not fight when they were knocking on his door. Instead he fought, oscar who was shot, ricky hatton, and not to mention baldomir (club fighter)

If and when floyd retires which he will soon, I believe boxing will be better! You have fighters like bradley and the 140 who all want to fight the to prove they are champs. Also We will get a huge star from who ever wins the super six. Do any of you agree??

Yes, the sport will see some improvements. Floyd has duck fighters many times and people defend him and call him a prize fighter and that legacy don't pay bills. Floyd claims to be the best but he hasn't always fought the best.

When he's gone the sport will definitely improve.

Oscar was done and a part time fighter, full time promoter at that time.

It was just a big money fight, can't blame the guy for taking it. Everybody would of done it except for Winky Wright. But, that was all it was a big money fight. Oscar was done as a serious fighter.
