this isnt about black vs white

This is about getting boxing back into the American market.
Having good american white boxers would help dramatically, its just a shame that there are none.

Face it, the only good american boxers are black and quite frankly mainstream white america dont care about them.

Just look at chad dawson and andre berto but yet when kelly pavlik comes on the scene hes huge.
White/black/hispanic people will support their own kind, just looking at the Ufc crowd tonight reminded me a of a wrestling match. All white drunks.

This isnt a racist post but all the white fighters are coming from europe, white fighters attract fans. Especially american whites and thats where the money is at.
I was around when Tyson first came out and he was ten times more known and popular than Kelly Pavlik. It just takes an exciting KO fighter to get peoples attention.

The top people of the boxing media don't want white boxers.

For example, Ross Greenburg won't show Bute-Brinkly. But he had no problem showing Bute-Miranda, and he would have had no problem showing Bute-Stevens, if Stevens had won the eliminator.

He wouldn't show Adamek-Johnson, but had no problem showing Cloud-Johnson. He refused to have Adamek-Cunningham II on, even though the first fight was a very good one. He permitted Adamek-Arreola because he thought Arreola would be too big and too strong for Adamek.

Even Bob Arum said in early 2007 that Greenburg was very reluctant to have Kelly Pavlik on. Of course, after Kelly stopped Miranda and became the mandatory for the HBO boxer Taylor, he didn't have much choice.

168 is Lucian Bute... He is way more talented, fast and hard puncher than both Dirrell's and Ward.

BTW, Pascal own 175lbs, not Dawson. Thats why he lose and isnt the Ring magazine champ.

No, it just takes THE MEDIA hyping a boxer who scores a few KOs.

Tyson's KOs were shown a lot when the sports media talked about his upcoming fights. He was raved about by a lot of people in the media - but they seemed to ignore the fact that when he faced a decent heavyweight opponent, his fights went the distance.
