How is it pathet, show me a clip of a real fight where this mma garbage is used, maybe tackling and ground and pound, but thats it. Some dude tries to armbar or choke someone out in a real fight they get ****** fast. Also, ground and pound can work sometimes, but that stuff to me is too dangerous in fights outside of sports (where ground and pound doesnt work since youll either get pulled off them or kicked off them), because who knows who has a knife. Boxing is by far the most practical skill in real fights.

Marduke, what you failt to realize is that mainstream audience doesn't understand this

and they HONESTLY believe UFC is better quality and better talent

        Its disgusting and Its outrageous

Any true boxing fan cannot deny a UFC v Boxing debate anymore. It exists, its happening, and UFC is winning at this point.

I hate to say it, but if things stay the way they are

In 10 years, I wouldnt be surprised to see boxing disappear from American media

Boxing fans and promoters need to get it together

We were ****ing embarassed tonight, end of discussion.

And if these PPV rates continue, boxing has no future in American Media

Boxing is strong in Europe, Latin America.

          But its faltering in USA

If things continue boxing will be relegated to ****ing ESPN5. You know what Im saying?

We're losing primetime TV, we're losing mainstream audience, we're losing media coverage

This thread needs to be bumped, because it is 100% correct and it is THE ONLY way

              for boxing to redeem itself.

                    Seriously.

The only person embarrassed tonight was a fat, washed up James Toney.

If he is seriously what you want to represent current boxing, then I don't know what to say. Just let him and his fight tonight stand on it's own. It's not a representation of the sweet science AT ALL. So stop making it that.

And who gives a ****? Does the opinions of an MMA fan really upset you that much?

Just enjoy our sport for what it is, and let them enjoy theirs for what it is.

Stop being so butthurt and childish.
