I don't mind watching good ufc fighters fight but it's rare u will see a good nice punch out fight . MMGAY fans are happy because fat james lost? LOL

couture wouldn't last two round with either klitschko or any professinal heavey weight or light heavy weight boxer.

boxing skills in a street fight make for a seriously short street fight. lol.
MMA skills work just as well. a strike is a strike. Both boxers and MMA fighters are above and beyond any Joe at accurate striking that it's unfair.

Both fighters know that a clean, flush shot to the jaw will at least buzz the other guy. a 1-2 pretty much floors anyone within your own weight, give or take 10lbs.

Boxer can avoid getting tackled with very basic footwork. MMA fighter gettin tackled just gained a SERIOUSLY unfair advantage (wrestlers, BJJ, grapplers, etc).

What's the obsession with you clowns, though? Always putting Boxing and MMA against each other. Toney would've given a thorough boxing lesson to Randy, same way Randy gave Toney a taste of MMA.

so what's the big f**king deal?

Boxing isn't some sort of holy grail of fighting that should be exhalted and praised. It's been slowly turning into a ludicrous, money-driven joke of a spectacle by the promoters and politics.

MMA, on the other hand, has steadily gained popularity by simple design. Dana picks the fights, and he has to guarantee that they make money. In MMA, usually the fights are extremely competitive. In boxing....I won't even comment.

In all honesty it sucks that Toney did'nt do a little better. If you ask me UFC is pretty boring. I had actual UFC fans at my house and everyone was falling asleep. The whole event was kind of boring. Without the hype of the Toney fight the it would've been really bad.

Boxing is a gentleman's sport, not a POS thugs sport.

Once again, lol @ MMA fans who think MMA = Street fighting. They're two completely different things, MMA is nothing like a street fight. NOTHING.

Wanna know what I'd do the moment some fat ugly **** tries his wrestling on me? I'm ripping his balls off and biting his neck oh and headbutting him around the eyes/ doing anything to get him off me.

The style of wrestling used in the UFC doesn't work in a street fight. It just doesn't. It's a style of wrestling used in sports, not for a street fight, the same way you're not gonna be shoulder rolling or clinching in a street fight if you're a boxer.

I didn't say there weren't bad eggs. BTW I am not saying MMA fighters are thugs. My reference was towards street fighting.

                    lolol.

straight up. In a street fight....if necessary, I'm biting, punching/kicking balls, headbutting, elbowing, scratching, eye-gouging, and trying to find a blunt object....or the knife I carry around with me...stabbing someone in the eye.

In the end.....the fact of the matter is this...there are NO RULES in a street fight. Boxer/MMA, or whoever, can get jumped and gang-beaten, hit with a bat, cut with a knife...or shot.

I think you guys don't have much of an idea what a REAL streetfight looks like. From my experience growing up in the South Bronx since the mid-80's...street fights aren't pretty at all.
