well.....a FIGHT does not only consist of only punching. It all depends on your opponent's skillset/level. A boxer have a hard time fighting a good wrestler........
staying on topic. No, boxing is NOT unless, but its not the only thing you need in a street fight. street fights don't have standing 8 counts and "breaks" when fighters grab each other..

They werent street fighting they were in an MMA fight. In the streets it would have got stood up.
