LMAO. RunW/Knives does, then he comes to the boxing forum to wear his roidy ********** avatar and tell people they need to 'learn about fighting sports' while bringing precisely zero boxing insight, zero boxing knowledge and zero boxing IQ to this BOXING forum.

I'd doubt guys like Run even have any knowledge of the grass-roots and prospect levels of MMA, either...just following the big names in the organizations.

Plus UFC Fighters always say UFC is better then boxing and talking crap! Like I said now we need one UFC guy to step up and get in the ring with a boxer and in no way am I taking up for Toney I hate him I'm and RJJ fan for life so you know there is no love between the camps but I love boxing and I just want to call Dana White out for the fraud he is. The biggest fight in UFC history is out there St. Pierre vs Spider Silva that would equal Pacman vs Pretty Girl Floyd Money Mayweather. I will give Dana credit for delivering the fights the fans want!

you are telling us that silva called out rjj for years and rjj ducked him???

come on now, the first rjj heard of it he said sounds good lets get it....

then rjj pursued it to the media and dana wouldnt let silva get humiliated by an old rjj

Silva is possibly the greatest UFC fighter there is about today, there is no way in hell White lets a prime UFC champion get in the ring with a boxer. If he gets blown out he looks like a cnut and MMA will lose credibility.
If either sport crosses over you have the propensity to look silly the diff is Toney is a washed up shot fighter that was made out to be some boxing God and the sad thing is these dumbasses will believe it.

          UFC vs Boxing

Lets turn in around now, lets have a UFC fighter fight a #2 contender in boxing, see how that plays out. Totally different, boxing will win, any suggestions who would win?

this was meant to be a public humiliation from the start, just as they would have done with Floyd Jr when in fact, we all know MMA and boxing are 2 different sports, it's not about which one is better

You must be totally clueless about MMA and obviously don't follow it. Randy Couture is elite? He's one of the best ever? Dude, Randy Couture is WAY past his prime and isn't half of what he used to be. He's 46 years old for ****s sake! He doesn't have the explosive power or speed he used to have, is older than Toney and isn't NEARLY the best 205'er/heavyweight in MMA. Toney would have been ****d by any of the top 205'ers or heavyweights in the UFC, probably worse.

no, this dude was right. a 42 year old, brain damaged, 50 lbs overweight, 7 years past his prime inactive boxer against an elite, even tho older couture who is an excellent grappler/ground and pound greco roman wrestling stud.

this was meant to be an destruction from the beginning...

if dana, who i like, was interested at all in making money out of toney he would

have matched up him respectfully against a good striker. and if toney won he

could have marketed him as the bad guy, ala brock lesner, and coming from

boxing and do the whole boxer vs mma theme and make more money

like i said, a destruction from the beginning...

i love both sports, moreso boxing
