Hard to believe that Toney made a million dollars for this "performance". Hopefully this will serve as retirement money for him and that we don't need to see him fight again. Likely won't happen though.

He'll come back. He's still got three fights left.

        Prepare for a repeat performance.

I think we all know the results, including Dana white he wouldn't let Anderson Silva fight Roy Jones Jr. pulled that I have you under contract card out quick when talks of the fight started to come up and we talking this old version of RJJ not the Superman RJJ so that tells me Dana knows the truth also and as much as I respect pure UFC fighters trying to compare it to other sports is a joke, because we could all laugh and say that the WWE is better then the UFC you know why the FORMER WWE World Champion is the UFC Heavyweight Champion but we know that's not true either. It's like telling Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady to throw A-Rod a fastball and expect a strike out yeah right that **** going right over the fence and then try and tell people baseball is better then football like I said BS please reply if you agree.
Yeah, but it was Toney all along that was chasing and demanding an MMA fight. So White finally caved in. It always seems boxers who are slagging off MMA, not the other way round. If a MMA fighter wanted to try his hand at boxing and was determined, then just like Toney he would make a fight. But they are smart and know it wouldn't be easy. It is boxer who are the ****** ones who show disrepect to the sport and are foolish enough to pursue a fight which they will 100% loose.

Trevor Sherman is a con artist. Anyone who goes to train at his school deserves to be slapped.

I get that Toney's gorund game might not of been upto scratch, but he fought a dumb fight from the get go, his own common sense should of told him that he was making it easier for Couture to get to his legs, which was no secret that he was going to do.

Toney is a tool and need top STFU...

He hasn't done **** since many years, except losing to Peter, and getting a gift decision against Oquendo.

He bored us calling an undeserved shot against the Klit for years and how he would beat MMA fighters..

He get beat by a guy who is almost 50 years old.

Toney is living of his mouth, not his fists and this since many years now.

Not true because Anderson Silva was calling out Roy Jones Jr for years and when Roy was finally like ok let's do it, Anderson said ok he stood to make 2 million dollars for the fight and then Dana White stepped in and said what a minute I still have you under contract and there is no way I'm letting you get in a boxing ring and that is a FACT! Plus UFC Fighters always say UFC is better then boxing and talking crap! Like I said now we need one UFC guy to step up and get in the ring with a boxer and in no way am I taking up for Toney I hate him I'm and RJJ fan for life so you know there is no love between the camps but I love boxing and I just want to call Dana White out for the fraud he is. The biggest fight in UFC history is out there St. Pierre vs Spider Silva that would equal Pacman vs Pretty Girl Floyd Money Mayweather. I will give Dana credit for delivering the fights the fans want!

Saw the fight, Corture made it look like child's play when he dragged James Toney to the ground. I expected Toney to get his ass whipped but I honestly though he'd have shown more resistance to the take down.

This is coming from someone who isn't a major fan of MMA, the talk about ''Corture would get wrecked in the ring'' is irrelevant, it's about as relevant as saying Messi would get owned on the basket ball court. They're different sports, James Toney should have stayed in his lane.
