How can your reply be taken seriously if you have Floyd Mayweather listed as one of your favorite fighters and him and Mayweather have similar styles.

lmao floyd is ten times more active than calderon. Floyd has pop to his punches. Floyd alot times just beats you to a punch. Floyd is alot faster, smoother, and more atheletic than calderon. Calderon's been dropped, floyd hasn't. Let me ask you this. Have you seen floyd fight at 130 or 135? How can you even compare that to calderon?? Did you see floyd vs castillo? floyd vs gatti? floyd vs hatton? Floyd>>>>>Calderon it's not even close. Also how many weight classes has calderon climbed??

look at baseball, u got albert pujols and ichiro suzuki. pujols hits home runs which is like a knockout in boxing. now u got ichiro who will put on a hitting clinic, spraying the ball over the field and using his speed 2 impact the game. calderon is the ichiro of boxing.

not really. I would say it's more about hitting your opponent more than he hits you or do more damage on him than he does on you. This sport was carried to the spot light by exciting fights, not by boring no action fights where fighters are just trying not to get hit. Go watch some old fights! Watch Arguello vs Pryor, bowe/hollyfield, tyson fights, delahoya fights, mosley fights, trinidad fights, vargas fights, chavez fights, sugar ray, hearns and so on and so on. Boxing strived when there was wars in the ring by great boxers. It was the science, the skill, the straight punching, the angles, the counters in these back and forth exchanges that were fascinating to watch and put boxing on top of the world.
