Wait, why does everyone hate Hopkins again?

What I get from most people when I translate it to "real" words is..

"I hate Hopkins. He's always beating up the guys that I want to win"

As far as the tito thing..I loved it when that happened. But I always felt tito was over hyped. I LOL'ed when he came out to challenge Jones.

I'll give you the whole he's a "cheater" or whatever..somewhat..more like a brutal brawler,...wouldn't go as far as to flat out call him a cheater.

I have alot of respect for Hopkins and his career, but based on his last two outings there can be no denying he is no longer the fighter he once was. Can't critize his career though.

People have always hated him? He just got like one-two years of being liked for almost beating Calzaghe who is even more hated and for his masterfull performance against Pavlik. After the Jones fight people are back to the normal state of hating him again. That's at least what i think.
