I have a theory about this but some of you may find it controversial.

Hopkins has figured out a way to exploit the white ******* guilt of HBO to such an extent that they feel compelled to put him on (even though they hate his fights) because they're afraid they'll be called racists by Hopkins.

Who is a master of using the "eternal victim" card to get his way when it comes to Hbo.

I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying.


Mayweather is starting to use the same schtick with HBO even though they've overpaid him for garbage fights for the last 10 years.

Would anyone want to see Hopkins fight again? I mean, I LOVE the science just as much as the next hardcore fan, but what Hopkins does at this point isn't even science. ****ing HBO man. You would have thought that the PPV #'s from the Jones/Hopkins fight would be an indicator of who the public isn't interested in.

Hopkins fights are not that bad anymore. But as long as they start at 930 and not 1100 I'm ok. haha.

George Foreman was a walkign punching bag at 45 who was only in fights because of bone crushing power but you wanted to see him. Hopkins who can still do things young guys can't anymore is unwatchable though.

Now that's cleared up, I'm only interested in seeing Hopkins try for Glory at heavyweight at this point. Nobody at LHW does anything for his résumé.

The last 5 Dawson fights have been much more exciting than the last 5 Hopkins fights. BET.
