First you have to take in account that Cotto has been in with some real punchers. Secondly, Floyd hasn't tasted the canvas but that is due to his great talents and defense, not his chin. Floyd is a good fighter but his chin when it gets tested isn't world class and imo Miguels chin is actually better. Not as many punchers as Miguel has and besides this isn't all about Mayweather. I'm defending Miguel and how everyone seems to think he has an Amir Khan chin. Mayweather might beat Miguel, we will never know but trying to say because of his chin is just wrong.

Well, I wouldn't call him feather fisted, I know that much. Take Kendall Holt for example, he's probably the hardest puncher at 140 and look at his K.O ratio, ratio doesn't really indicate how hard of a puncher a boxer is.

I agree. cotto has a better chin because he actually takes a lot more shots than floyd and hasn't been KTFO.

floyd has better defense and conditioning than cotto, so even when he gets hurt, he recovers fast and his defense helps him get through the time he's wobbly. also, floyd ain't afraid to hold/clinch to get his head straight. cotto doesn't know how or he doesn't want to hold/clinch ever.

floyd ain't feather fisted, but he don't put enough combinations together to really take out his opponent. floyd don't have a killer instinct thus, he isn't a great finisher anymore, especially at 147 lbs.

just think about it. if floyd just put together more punches, ****m would've stopped the fight and marquez would've got stopped.

He has a good chin, I saw how he ate alot of Shane's overhand rights and left hooks, no doubt man. But you made a comparison I wouldn't have made, for example, those overhand rights that Mosley landed; Cotto saw coming. Cotto tried to block them with his left hand but Mosley went over the top. The overhand right that hurt Mayweather in the 2nd round was a counter shot, he countered Mayweather's left hook, Mayweather never saw it coming.

If anybody thinks Cotto (Even the Cotto that went in to the Margarito fight) couldn't beat Floyd are idiots, Cotto would caused Floyd HEAPS of problems but if i have to be honest i still think Floyd would win a close decision, adjusting & winning the championship rounds.

All caught up with Yesir that I missed this one. Feather fisted is a bit of a stretch and the wrong word to use but he isn't a good puncher at 147. His punches may look flashy and a bit powerful but that is due to the speed of his punches. Take Manny for example, he can lay dudes out because he has speed but he has power to back it up. If Mayweather had raw power he would be laying guys out.
