or maybe kessler is trying to save his record from further destruction. kessler cried a lot in the ward fight now he is pulling this crap. froch is the best of the euros in this tournament. froch has heart, character, and he fights like a mad man. froch already has a better resume then joe calzaghie. i am picking froch against abraham also.

That just shows how much heart and will Kessler has.

He probably would have said something about it getting worse during the Ward fight if it had... If there is a legit excuse for a fight going badly, a boxer will use it... Hell, they use ****** excuses that make no sense to justify bad nights, so...
His left is the worst one.

During the fight itself and even more so during the 360 episode you can repeatedly hear Kessler saying that he can't see and has double vision to his corner. His corner asked him to quit 5 times (Hershman can be said saying this to Goosen after the fight) and Mikkel kept refusing.

All you have to do is watch how Ward landed lead rights at will on Mikkel and he wouldn't even react because he simply couldn't see them coming. In spite of that he wasn't even in hurt once during that fight. Tough bastard.

froch is the best of the euros. he beats a young prime dirrel. he knocks out taylor. he woops pascal. and he goes the distance against kessler in a fight that could have gone ETHER WAY. (lets just say if it is in kesslers home town it will go to kessler. if it was in froche's home it will go to froch. it's a toss up fight)

froch isn't crying, he wants even MORE. he wants to kill abraham. i have him beating abraham. froch is a true blood & guts warrior. fighters that cry shouldn't be mentioned next to a mad robot like froch. it's time that we started showing this man some respect.

          Pretty much kills your theory

Come on Tunney I know your better then this. No need for all the anti-American threads. Your a good poster and I like the way you cover european fights for us, but come on this is not you tomake these type of threads.

It is possible Ward turned a minor eye injury into something a little more serious.

Froch reopened the cut and that made mikkel realize it's a big problem

Whadda you mean "Euros have no dignity" You dont know what you're talking about. I AM a Euro and i certainly have too much dignity to allow you to make these unwarranted slurs on 350 million people, the vast majority of whom wouldn't even bother to know you.

Perhaps you are a Mexican...full of dignity.....and other things less salubrious. You should follow the example of your idol and only open your mouth to put food into it, and to talk sense. Slim happens to have a lot of my money, and he didn't let HIS dignity get in the way of asking for it when he needed to.

Kessler has fought through a ton of injuries over the years. He took on Cal with a busted right (I've seen the surgical scars on his fist for the work done after). Terrible back problems for Mundine. By most reports, the eye problem has been building. Kessler deserves the benefit of the doubt and those not giving it are the worst sort of boxing fans.

No one should risk blindness for sport and, given his slowing down in recent years, the risk is increased.
