What happened to "I'm not thinking about boxing right now"?

The issue surrounding the first negotiations was the testing cut off date, by which, if never brought up by Floyd, wouldnt be an issue at all.
This 2nd time around, both Bob and Pac stated that they conceded to Floyd's demands. Whether true or not, we dont know because Floyd and his entire team went mum on the issue. Even went as far as to state he was not thinking about boxing, and wanted to take a year or two off to vacation and spend time with his family. Not to mention, they also stated no negotiations even took place.
Seems to me and every other level headed fan that the only side trying to make this fight happen is Pac's, while Floyd is doing everything to make this fight as difficult as possible from happening.Comment

How do you blame floyd for the lack of information provided by top rank?Comment

The thing you have to understand is that Floyd just doesnt want it right now
maybe he feels that he isnt ready for Pac and needs to fight one more time
just like Pac wasnt ready for Floyd in March so he went the easier route and fought Clottey and is taking another simple route and fighting margs
I would love to know what was negotiated and I find it really strange that Arum isnt sayin anything
If he indeed negotiate he would have bashed May for not taking the fight and spilling the beans on what was negotiated but instead he didnt
that is not the typical Arum way
maybe its because he did indeed promise Margs a shot at pac and never had any real intentions on fighting mayComment

Their decision.

You know you don't.
You don't know what terms Arum sent to Floyds team... you simply, straight up... do NOT know.
So you cannot say side A tried harder than side B.
For all we know what happened, is Arum sent over his contract with the cutoff date... and Team Mayweather looked at it, and moved on... because it is not what they wanted, while keeping to their selves.
Just because one side talked non stop and the other did no talking, doesn't mean one side tried harder than the other.
Neither of us read what that contract said that Arum sent over.Comment

Respectfully deevel916, Whether true or not, we dont know because Floyd and his entire team went mum on the issue. we don't know because Bob never showed the "contract" to the media nor did the specifically state what "terms" they agreed to.

They obviously didn't want the same media frenzy that happened in January.

You don't need to explain to me what happened.

You're a weird one Reed. One day you're coming down on Floyd for what it seems like avoiding a showdown with Pac, and the next you're defending him. You've taken a double stance on this matter. At least be consistant.Comment

There is no question I will bash and defend Floyd in the same thread.
It just depends on what exactly we are talking about.Comment
