Are you serious? You REALLY need an explanation as to how Morales was past it when he beat Pacquiao? No one is saying he was shot, but he was clearly not prime. Watch Morales fights in the late 90s through the early 2000s, and then tell me that Morales in 2005 was that same guy. Come on.

all you have to look at is compare his previous fight (morales-barrera 3) and watch the 1st 2 morales-barrera fights.

all you have to do is have eyes and you can tell morales was no longer in his prime.

the pacquiao was the last great fight of morales' career. just because he won doesn't mean he was still at his best.

i love pacquiao but he lost to a past prime morales. end of.

Morales looked good in the previous fights against Hernandez,Chavez and Barrera,just my opinion.

I disagree.I mean,that night when he beat Pacquiao,it was Morales at his best,the guy wasn't slower,softer,weaker or less skilled than the Morales I knew years before...maybe he was on the decline,but that night hE wasn't.
Unfortunately it was his last bullet...but a bullet signed Morales.

morales did not look good in the 3rd barrera fight. not at all.

the judges might have had the scores close and didn't give barrera a unanimous decision but i don't think that fight was even that close.

i think barrera won that fight convincingly.

pacquiao is a once in a lifetime fighter. people might not think he's that great but he's done a lot of great things.
