Mayweather outboxes Tito. Only one punch Floyd had to neutralize was the left. The poll should be a landslide for Mayweather if you really know about styles. Plus Trinidad walked right in to jabs, Floyds third favorite punch is the jab to the body, to open up the top and catch with you with right hands or quick left hooks. Trinidad was also opened for check left hooks with the way he comes forward all the time.

IMO 34 year old DLH at 154 gave Floyd a tougher fight than a prime Trinidad would give Floyd at 147. Trinidad was the type to get frustrated if you're not right in front of him to tee off on you. Doesn't take a scientist to figure out Trinidad was at his best against come forward fighters, something Floyd is far from.

I use to think this fight was 50-50. But, from what I saw from Floyd against Shane. And, if we talking about a prime Tito at WW who didn't have trouble making weight. ANd, the 94-97 version of Tito who hadn't yet felt in love with his power. Who had solid boxing skills, used a jab, went to the body, was able to slip punches. That Tito IMO can beat Floyd. So I would favor Trinidad

Thank you for the comment, I've always responded to those who supported Oscar through thick-and-thin when it came to this fight. Some of us, alas only few, can see past the endd of our noses, and, as Trinidad said in the after fight interview, he was losing, and changed tactics getting in closer -meaning body shots- and, as he finished his comment " an we won the fight". I believe, from memory, (not certain) that 2 of the judges gave Trinidad the last 4 rds, and the other gave him the last 5.

I'd like to know how YOU know that the jab to the body is Floyd's 3rd favorite punch?

          what's 1st and 2nd?

Just the left? Tito was a dynamic puncher at WW with both hands. If Floyd just focused on the left then he really would be in trouble against Tito.

And, lol @ a 2007 version of Oscar at 154 would be tougher opponont than a prime Tito at 147 without weight issues.

Tito would decapitate him. I don't even think Floyd would see the 5th round.

But this is the only place where this matchup happens anyway since Floyd's strategy is to stay out of the ring with fighters he know could beat him.

I agree I thought Tito did enough to win the fight. I had it 7 rounds to 5 115-113. And, I have watched the fight a hundred times.

I think Floyd would just be to small,Tito wouldn't tire & Floyd would have to pitch a no hitter & I just don't see that happening at all!!Tito would walk him down & land big eventually & Floyd wouldn't have the power to hurt him back!!When Floyd leans on the ropes & Tito starts to unload,Floyd will feel that power!I really don't see Floyd perfect for 12 rounds & I know he isn't stopping Tito,he gets hurt late & stopped!!

felix trinidad would destroy mayweather, because mayweather wouldn't be able to take tito's hard shots, his defense wouldn't work against trinidad.
