I think we forget that this was a fight at Margarito's physical peak and the one the set the compubox record with like 1700 punches. And to be clear it was a stress fracture to his knuckle. He admittedly stated it was hurt on a punch landed on Margarito. So bringing Clottry into this and defending him doesnt help anyones argument... Just saying.

Physical peak my a$$. This was after Marg was ****ing up the likes of Kermit Cintron in 5 rounds or less. The guy is fighting with a deadly weapon in his hands.

The only person who is responsible for us debating this moot case is Evangelista Cotto. At that time he was Cottos trainer, and around that same he had the televised altercation with Jose Cotto, which showed that there was already bad blood in that family. He; as Cottos trainer should've been in that dressing room inspecting the same way Naz did for Mosely. In my Opinion, Evangelista screwed Cotto not Marg.

for the people opining that he didn't cheat before check this out: It's like that saying women have of us men.."Once a cheater always a cheater" So to the people defending Marg, try using these lame ass theories on ya girlfriends to see if you can convince them you won't cheat on them again. different scenario but same issue. Once you are caught cheating, you're credability is completely shot. So one must assume. Give Capetillo a lie detector test

OK well the inserts we have all seen were obviously used so did he not notice that? LIE

So you used these inserts for every fight or that was just a seriously ****** comment.

Really? I know some of the trainers have come out and said they could slip things by their guys they think but I have to think that even I who have worn wraps just a few times could tell if there was something like that especially when the impact is more solid and thudding.


Margarito Statement:

Again, Margarito stated he could'nt tell the pads were there so how does he know how often Capetillo was loading the gloves?

Tape on the knuckle and skin that helps increase stability and punching power. The "commissioner" had signed off on that as well as the pads so seems pretty consistent that commissioners in general have let Capatillo wrap and tape this way with no regard for a while. Even when Nazzim asked the commissioner in the room to rewrap the response he received initially was no, they were Ok. It was only after a 2nd Commissioner was brought in did the situation escalate.

So you add it all up, think Tony's trainer cheated with illegal wraps and pads only once or for many many fights?
