its like when you get new, bad-ass, running shoes. shoes like the kinvara, a shoe that make you forget your feet are attached to your legs while you run.

that type of advantage is almost insurmountable in a sport when you're facing off against another man who isn't afforded the same opportunity.

with running, a big part is the shoes baby, the shoes.

with margarito, a big part of the win was the inserts baby, the inserts.

i expected that from you. to deter this assumed rebuttal i put in those "imaginary scenarios" that those probably DIDN'T happen.

i tried to steer you away, with text, from ******ity, yet you still found your way into a post dripping in idiocy.

      you my friend are talented.

If that was true, then Mayweather should be stoned to death since public opinion of him is in the gutter.

I don't know how they do things in whatever jerkwater country you're from, but in America you actually need to be tried in front of a jury of your peers within a fair trail before you can take someone's freedom and livelihood away.

I wouldn't expect you to understand liberty or its basic tenets though.
The difference is that Mayweather has done nothing wrong. margachito has been caught trying to cheat. We are not discussing legality here either, we are discussing whether the public (myself included) consider him guilty. I do consider him guilty. It is my opinion. This is a public forum for discussions of those opinions. It does not require that you agree or even respect them.

As for his livelihood, ******, no one is denying him a way to make a living. Boxing is a privilege, not a right. That it requires a license implies it is at the discretion of some governing authority to grant him the legal ability to practice his art. Even rights can be revoked if one breaks certain laws. You obviously don't understand the Justice Codes in the USA. No one is denying margachito the ability to earn a living, and if we were, it would only be at boxing. He has every right to choose another field or vocation if whoever is hiring thinks he is qualified.

A trial? A trial is for someone who has been criminally charged. Sadly, no criminal charges have been filed for this incident. Sorry, bub, no trial for margachito...no jury by his peers.

As for understanding liberty, you need to brush up on your jurisprudence. You clearly have no idea what you are blathering on about.

*** you being logical and only sticking to facts is what I do best and I'm not even saying that Tony didn't cheat. He did break rules and I have always stated that he deserves to be punished.

But when Cotto fans make up these fantastical scenerios to justify why they think Tony used plaster in all his fights they sound just as ****** as the margarito fans who think he's completely innocent. Seriously man you seem like a smart guy so stop buying into Myths and fables. Let facts speak for themselves.

As loathe as I am to admit it, Pistol has valid arguments (not compelling in my view, but valid nonetheless) for maintaining his position. He ain't ******, he's just a little sympathetic to the guy and he has, to support his argument, our camp's lack of compelling evidence to make a proven case to the contrary.

However, I think 'proof' is too high a standard to make an allegation. We have evidence to make an accusation, but not enough to make it worth anything in the commissions' or Boxings' views. Too much time has passed, the trail has decayed beyond anything but verbal testimony by anyone in his camp. I doubt they are going to admit to anything. However, as individual citizens, we have every right to exercise our judgment by avoiding his fights and/or by expressing our opinions.

I think what bugs Pistol is that we ASSUME it's true. Unfortunately, Pistol likes to stay with facts; and the facts support his case. Facts are fine, but can be distorted just as easily as emotions. Consider the notion that statistics can be easily manipulated. I think the facts must be matched to patterns and motives also. Intuition can be useful too, but I am not a detective and I do not have all of the evidence and I have not interviewed all of the people involved.

We may never know...but I think what we have is enough doubt to label every one of his fights suspect.

FWIW, not that anyone will believe me, but when margachito and Cotto fought, I was disappointed that Cotto lost. I had no animosity for margachito until after the Mosley fight.
