There is no way to prove if Margarito used loaded gloves during his fight with Cotto. Now whether you believe he did or not that is solely your opinion, which everybody is entitled to have. As a boxing fan, the fights that you watch financially support the boxers involved. With that said, if you want to make a statement louder than any racial slur or derogatory insult don't watch anymore Margarito fights. It's as simple as that. If there is no public interest in a proven cheater Bob Arum will probably stop giving him these lucrative paydays.

So instead of being a prick they should just be self rightious pricks?

When you exercise your rights you are not being a prick. If you don't like Margarito don't watch his fights. It's everyone's right to do what they want. If you don't like that and think someone is a prick for it then obviously you think the world should be centered around your ideas and that would make it more ****ed up than it already is.

Hilarious how people use that excuse for Clottey.
Cause Clottey didnt know his opponent had bricks so the only explanation he can think of that time was his own bones.

Clottey blocks punches for a living. Margarito was the only time he was injured in a fight.

                He's a f@ckin cheater period point blank!
I voted yes. It's my opinion that he had loaded gloves. I have a right to that opinion, and it's not up for debate. The post i quoted was compelling enough to garner immense su****ion, after watching the Mosley incident, where Naaz was the one who insisted the head commision guy take a 2nd look at the wraps, whereas, from what i have read and heard, nobody from Cotto's camp was present to witness the handwrapping.

I admit i could be wrong, and maybe somebody was present, but they weren't watching as intently as Naaz was, if he did have illegal wraps. But this is a poll asking opinion, and this is mine, and I'm sticking to it.

Nobody had ever beaten Cotto that badly, he was bleeding profusely, whereas in his fight with Manny, yeah, Pac fvked up his face but good, but they were mostly bruises, that were bleeding a little bit and stopped after they wiped up his face.

The bleeding didn't stop that quick in his fight with Margo. Blood was pouring out of every hole in his face. Capitello has already admitted to using illegal wraps in the Mosley fight, so we know there was an attempt. So there's your proof...an attempt and getting caught in my eyes is enough to convince me he most likely did load his gloves.

Hence the hearing and suspension of both Cap and Margo for a year. But in Margo's defense, let's say the wraps were fine, Margo was a nightmare for Cotto, being bigger, and the kind of fighter that gives Cotto problems, we all know Cotto has trouble with come-forward, volume throwing pressure fighters. Margo had the style to give Cotto problems to begin with. I do give him enough credit, it's possible he might have won w/o illegal wraps. Tony is was no pu$$y at that time. But there was something very su****ious about that fight, especially watching it after the Mosley controversy transpired.

Watching how easily Mosley wooped the crap out of margo round after round, ko'ing him in the 9th, the 2nd kd, a guy Cotto had beaten...just barely, but he beat him. Some people dispute that fight also, but i bring to your attention, even if Mosley did actually win, he only just barely won, the fight was so very close, and any boxer that could keep up with Mosley like that surely would not have taken so much brutal punishment by a guy Mosley beat the chicken soup out of so easily. That was a walk in the park fight for Mosley.

This is some of what i base my opinion on. and i remind you, it is my OPINION.

Well Cotto looked the worst for the wear compared to what he did to Malignaggi. So the possibility Margo may have loaded up for Cotto and previous opponents is there.

Maybe Capetillo, with Margo's blessings of course, loaded the wraps infrequently in past fights just in case. What may have happened is they rolled the dice one too many times not expecting anyone to get overly cautious and concerned until they ran into brother Naazim.

Murphy's Law kicked in and they crapped out

I watched that fight again. Pay close attention to how Cotto reacts when congratulating Manny on the win. He WINKS at him and smiles. After the margachito fight Cotto looks like he is in a waking nightmare. Clearly there is more damage after the margachito fight than after the Pacquiao fight.

It is my considered opinion that margachito cheated. Note that his regret seems attritional and not sincere. He laments being caught, not that he could have done irreparable damage to Mosley, never mind what he almost certainly did to Cotto.

I think we forget that this was a fight at Margarito's physical peak and the one the set the compubox record with like 1700 punches. And to be clear it was a stress fracture to his knuckle. He admittedly stated it was hurt on a punch landed on Margarito. So bringing Clottry into this and defending him doesnt help anyones argument... Just saying.
