I'm actually a bit disappointed in my man Hopkins for not giving Dawson a fight when he called him out.

Pascal is a good fighter though and is the official man at 175 now so it is a relevant fight.

          me too.
I also would radher see Hopkins outbox and toy around with Pascal than the Bute match which wont happen cuz Bute want to stay at 168.

Pascal did a very very good job in the Dawson fight, perfect gameplan.
but BHop is going to teach him a boxing lesson.

          WAR HOPKINS

This is a lose-lose situation for Pascal's rep, if he wins, he beat an old man; if he loses.......well.....

a little disappointed in Hopkins and how he pretty much avoided Dawson while he was the champion but now he wants to fight Pascal because clearly he see something in Pascal style that he thinks he probably can exploit, it comes off a little bit as a CHEAP way to get the title back without having to fight Dawson

if Hopkins wins then that won't be good for Dawson because Hopkins is still not going to fight Dawson

TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE.....that are saying why woulpd Hopkins fight Pascal but not Dawson? Are you kidding me? Dawson has absolutely NO drawing power, where Pascal has already proved numerous times he can sell hella tickets in his home in Montreal. In this stage of Hopkins career, it's all about the benjamins and will be against someone who happens to be the LINEAL CHAMPION. So quit coplaining.

I think Hopkins beats Pascal and Dawson easily. He was never scared of Dawson, there was just no money in fighting him. Think about it. HBO offered 3 million for Hopkins and Dawson to split down the middle and this was after Hopkins made 3 million to fight Pavlik. It was still bull**** he fought Jones though. But after these sorry ass performances that Dawson has put up, I'm actually pretty glad Hopkins didn't fight him. Because after he beat him, people would say he was tailor made for Hopkins because of his lack of inside game and they would discredit the win. Any fighter who can't fight on the inside will lose to Hopkins unless he has totally slipped and Dawson can't fight on the inside like Street mentioned. I'm not even a big Hopkins fan like I used to be. But I'm just calling it like I see it.

I thought Hopkins made it pretty clear on ESPN that he was going to fight the winner and he was expecting it to be Dawson.

Fighting either one of them would be an easy path to a title.
