If WBC/IBO light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal is looking for a fight, he may have found one in the form of Bernard Hopkins. On August 14, Pascal won an eleven round technical decision over the fighter most experts considered as the top 175-pounder in the world, Chad Dawson. Folowing that win, Pascal called out several names - including Hopkins. [Click Here To Read More]

but you can't say nothing because he's fighting the guy that beat dawson, and pascal is a bigger draw now then dawson was before. and everybody would be going for pascal. but not me. i'm going for B-Hop

dawson was the bigger younger fighter at top of his game. even tho pascal won he showed plenty of weaknesses that bhop can exploit jsut like he saw in pavlik and tarver. dawson didnt show manyweakness besides punching power before pascal fight in that fight he showed he didnt have a killer instinct which bhop doesnt have anymore himself. so dawson would still outbox and work bhop. but bhop can bully and outbox and outlast the off balance burst boxer of pascal

          IMO

they need to officially announce this so i can win my first bet. pascal's technique is incredibly sloppy and he doesn't make up for it with above average activity or power. hopkins hits and holds his way to a decision. the hopkins with lateral movement that fought pavlik stops pascal in the 11th or 12th round.

sounds crazy, of course, but my feeling is that this is how it works out. pascal fights like a newcomer to the gym which will play into hopkins' hands.

yeah I agree, wish BHOP would have faced Dawson but together the two couldn't sell the fight and no money was there to be made, Pascal vs Hopkins in Montreal will give BHOP his last biggest payday but who knows it's Hopkins he may win and go on to face Tomas Ademak once again getting a big payday.

If it's the same Hopkins that showed up and put on his Bold and the Beautiful performance against RJJ ...... Pass.

Hopkins is great at sniffing out weakness and jumping all over it.

Exactly. He saw what everyone else saw last weekend. I have Hopkins winning an ugly UD or getting robbed in Canada. Robbed in Canada...Jesus, it even feels weird to type.
