Can't say I'm massively thrilled at this news. I understand why Adamek is picking Whitaker, but if he wanted a quality taller opponent he should have gone for Thompson or Dimitrenko. Lance in no way prepares Adamek for a Klitschko, unless you're one of those simple types who believe the brothers only dominate due to their size. To top it off he was dominated and knocked out by tiny Heavyweight Sultan Ibragimov so the onus would be on Adamek to put on a spectacular performance.

Dmitrenko would be a better choice as he is fights in orthodox stance. Thompson is a southpaw and I think he might beat Adamek at this point.

Good choices. Although not as big I would also like to see him in there with Solis.

I don't see Dimitrenko as being much more of a challenge than Whitaker and I highly doubt that Dimirenko's promoters will be willing to set him up for an ass whooping as readily as Whitaker's will.

He surely wouldn't come to the US.

Dimitrenko is a better fighter than Whitaker, and he moves better, but he is soft as baby **** and can't take even a marginal shot to the body without being hurt by it.

Whitaker, at the very least, can soak up some punishment. Dimitrenko would be tapping out like a b*tch as soon as Adamek got into a groove.

Another good choice to try and get ready for the klits, but unfortunately Ademek is far to small to really ever be a champ at heavyweight.

He should move back down to cruiser once he loses against one of the klits.

Tony Thompson would be a much better opponent to get ready for the klits though. Would be a big fight in the US as well

i'll say this he is preparing properly and that gives him a chance.
fighting tall opponents will create a plan he'll know what works.
smaller men with the right plan have beaten bigger guys many times
