Ward is a very good boxer outside, which people seem to not realize, but Dirrell is quicker of foot and to the punch.

Ward may not be able to fight inside consistently due to Dirrell's movement.

I think Ward pulls it off, but I can't say it with any conviction. I'm either completely underrating or overrating Ward, I'm not sure which to go with.
Yeah i think dirrells movement wins him this fight, its a shame cause the loser of this fight is going to be thrown under a bus

I love this fight, i think its going to be a close, strategic fight like you said.

I think Ward takes this one, by descion maybe even MD or SD, i think its gonna be a close fight. I think Ward has the better timing than Dirrell i think he will try and neutralise Dirrells speed advantage (although Ward is fast too) with his timing, i think Ward is stronger mentally and has better ring generalship i think this will give him the edge on some of the close rounds, also sometimes Dirrell fades in the later part of the fight but in this fight i dont think he will because it will be more about stratergy.

This being said Dirrell will try and get off first and use his speed, both of them are very skilled and i see alot of the rounds being very close. But, in the end i think Ward will do enough to take the victory. I think Dirrell and Ward are the best fighters in the tornument i felt Dirrell beat Froch and both of them should be in the next round now but ah well.

the ony reason dirrel faded in his last 2 fights in because he fought 2 heavy pressure fighters in froch and abraham, ward wont put anywhere near the same amount of pressure on dirrell that they did

Ward is good in adapting to fighters styles during fights so i think that will make it interesting

If the fight is in Oakland with a crooked Goossen referee like Jack Reiss, the referee will allow Ward to hit while holding and deliberately headbutt. So Ward would have the advantage and win a decision.

If it's in Detroit with a crooked Gary Shaw referee, Ward's knockdowns might not be counted, and Dirrell will lie down, pretending to be very seriously hurt by one of Ward's headbutts and so Ward will lose by DQ.

Yeah i dont think it will be a factor in this fight but still, just throwing it out there.

I agree thats what i think will be a key factor, Wards ability to adapt and his ring general ship, thats what i like most about him. For me this is the toughest fight to predict in the tornument.
