Ward is just the more smarter and well prepared fighter.

Look if Dirrell struggled to win big against Carl Froch or Abraham, how can he cope with the most mentally conditioned guy in the tourney.

Plus the kid can't pull the trigger, he's gonna get beaten up by Ward - trust!

Just because the kid has got skills doesn't mean anything.

You must have the will and be smart enough to win, Ward has both those qualities.

Look at what happened between Danny Jacobs vs Pirog a couple of weeks ago.

I disagree, although he might have "struggled" against Froch; Dirrell fought a disciplined fight against Abraham (arguably the favorite to win super six before this fight). If anything Dirrell was very focused and fought an intelligent fight.
Furthermore, Abraham is an intelligent boxer with patience and precision. That being said, I believe Dirrell will be able to handle a "mentally" conditioned fighter.

What do you mean he "can't pull the trigger"??? If you think Dirrell can't deliver based on the Froch fight? Then you are mistaken, I see that as a learning experience. The end result of that was the Abraham fight. My point is...Dirrell, when properly motivated he can handle his business.

The disclaimer I have to put out here though....Dirrell and Ward are buddies...this might be the ONLY problem....Dirrell and/or Ward might not engage...that would suck too.

I think the majority of Dirrell's problem in the Froch fight was the fact that Ricky Hatton is the only person allowed to clinch excessively in the UK.
