Cortez did a poor performance, but to think a good ref would have change the outcome of the fight, you need to be a total ******ed or somebody that doesnt know **** about boxing.

Cortez actually let them fight on the inside a couple of times, and Floyd was the best, so its not like if Hatton wasnt allow to fight a type a fight he could have dominated.

Dont remember saying it would change the outcome. We're talking about Cortez's performance on its own.

Facts are these...........

The only way Hatton could of hung with Mayweather, would of been if he were able to bridge the talent gap by fighting dirty, which is what he was allowed to do to beat Tszyu, only the ref was not having any of it.


If Hatton was not allowed to hold, why did he keep initiating it? why not take the hint, that ref wont allow you to do it, therefore, dont do it cause you will get penalized for it, adapt to the situation, that is what fighters are supposed to do, Hatton aint the only who has supposedly had the ref against him.

They took away Hatton best weapon, holding & hitting , which is illegal anyway, case closed.

Yes i checked your sigs man. So not only is it Pac who beat PBFs opponents better than Floyd. Cotto has also beat PBFs victims better than Floyd.
ANd then Pac beats Cotto in the best possible way. THey have got it right when they put pac p4p no1 thats for sure. He should be no1 ww as well though.

Mayweather was way more dirty than Hatton, Mayweather was doing most of the holding, using the elbow and ducking below the waist at every opportunity, Hatton got a point deducted for hitting behind the head (didn't even land) but Mayweather did the same when Hatton's back was turned and only got a verbal.

You seriously believe that Joe Cortez changed the outcome of the fight? What does anything Cortez did have anything to do with Hatton running into right hand leads and the final one finishing him off?
