    Alexander> Ortiz?

Really? Why cuz' he beat Urango and got schooled by Kotelnik?

As for Ortiz's heart we didn't know about it until Maidana exposed it. Up until that point he was a pretty ferocious fighter who everyone was ****riding.

I'm surprised at you for not recognizing a real badass fighter.
Maidana is the reason that Ortiz has completely changed his style to a safety first boxer even against mediocre competition when before that he was a ferociuos fighter just like you described. That counts for something even though I need to see more of Maidana before I say he's the real deal.

Maidana is a great combination puncher, hes a one-punch knock-outer, a very experienced 140 pounder with a lion's heart, a real Argentinian warrior, who even if he gets knocked down he will stand up and come back even stronger.
his chin is not as great as Kotelniks, but if u watched the Maidana-Kotelnik fight that ended up in a SD(I have it a draw, many other gave it to Maidana) young Kotelnik got pizza-faced that Alexander and Amir Khan couldnt do.

I think Maidana still is growing and have a chance to be the best at 140 pounds.

So does this mean that Cotto is only barely better than Torres?

Other then the knockdowns Holt did not give Bradley any trouble.I gave Holt two rds and those were the ones that Bradley went down in..

Cotto is much better than both Torres and Maidana. He just got overconfident and fought a ****** fight against the bigger puncher Torres. He brawled with a brawler.

Cotto beat Judah and Shane Mosley. Maidana is C+ fighter at best. Kotelnik schooled him.

Glad i made this thread now, when i said, its not so much that anyone specifically is over-hyping him, i should of edited/deleted that, the response in this thread contradict that.

Nobody is over hyping Maidana when you think about the whole context of boxing every fighter is going to be over rated by some and then others will under rate them sure some on here are saying hes **** well he fought Kotelnik to a close fight in his home country koed the next big thing in Ortiz and took out Cayo who was unbeaten and although no great shake he was ok so hes hardly ****.Maidanas top 5 rank is deserved

would be a very good fight, but a prime cotto would've destroyed him at WW

at JWW, maidana would have a HUGE chance against JWW cotto
