Its not so much he is being overrated by anyone specifically, its just he gets way too much notoriety based on what he can do imo.
Dynamite Kid telling it like it is

Ive got all the top guy beating him, even Ortiz in a rematch who he has stopped. Khan is the only one i give him a chance with due to tha chin but i actually think Amir gives him a worse beating thn any of them! If that makes sense!

The only thing I can say here is Maidana is a big jr welterweight with big power,Alexander & Bradley are both easy to hit,Khan has a chin of china & Ortiz already got dealt with,so to me Maidana fits into the top five quite well!!

        like the saying goes...

"everybody has a plan until they get hit". Khan has all the necessary tools of an elite boxer. Sick hand speed, good head movement, decent power and pop in his punches, a world-class jab, great conditioning...etc. And then all that goes out the window with a "lucky" punch to his glass jaw.

Nobody's disillusioned about Maidana. He's a fighter...a mexican-style puncher. On paper, the superior boxer beats the puncher 9 out of 10 times. but give the boxer the chin of a 10 yr old...and those odds have a tendency to even out.

          Thats a foul opinion.

He's got the best win at 140 and in the most impressive fashion. Its not a stretch to think he could stretch anyone at 140 just like he did Ortiz.

Especially a non puncher like Bradley who can't crack like Ortiz or a 1 dimensional hype job like Alexander.

The only guy that could give him some trouble is Khan cuz' he's got great runnning shoes, but if MM catches him its lights out.

You don't understand his style is all.

madina does blow ass he only has heart and a punchers chance to beat anyone at 140. people better pray that madina doest get a real trainer that can actually train him properly. madina lacks a real trainer that is what is keeping him from becoming a force to be reckon with.

                *beat Kotelnik.

Maidana should've beaten Kotelnik (IMO) by a point. But a point means nothing when you're fighting at your opponents home turf.

As Kotelnik found out....beating HIS opponent by several points meant nothing...and Alexander got the early christmas gift.

The best boxer is Khan. The most complete fighter is Bradley. The most dangerous is Maidana. The one with the most potential is Ortiz. The biggest x-factor is Alexander.

I guess Kotelnik has the pop of Ortiz then?

Bradley might not crack like Ortiz but overall is just a much better fighter than Ortiz with more heart.

And, what do you mean by the best win at 140?

                  Alexander>Ortiz as well

Why you acting it is a big deal stopping a guy with no heart. Just a plain quitter that doesn't have a solid chin eihter. I mean out of all the posters I didn't expect this coming from you. I still can't believe you're hyping up a quitter.

If you had Maidana by a point then you should also realized it was a close fight that could of gone either way. Can't really sy *Maidana beat Kolteniki if thta is the case.

I had Kotelnik beating both Maidana and Alexander.

Ortiz is probably the hardest hitter at 40 and couldn't keep Maidana down.

                      Weak chin my ass.

Really? Why cuz' he beat Urango and got schooled by Kotelnik?

As for Ortiz's heart we didn't know about it until Maidana exposed it. Up until that point he was a pretty ferocious fighter who everyone was ****riding.

I'm surprised at you for not recognizing a real badass fighter.
