Gamboa, Lara, Rigondeaux are greats...the rest are just ok figthers
There are 3 guys in Irland...you hear about them??? Garcia, Acosta and Mike PerezComment
-
I have heard about them... it's super weird that they ended up in Ireland IMO.
What happened in Hernandez's only loss?
How about that Yan Barthlemy guy? He really has not started out very well as a pro.Comment

Hernandez is bored and has a glass chin...Barthelemy is shot and without power...Comment

If you are bored, you should make a topic explaining the basics of all the Cuban defectors (just the ones with good amateur backgrounds... I don't much care about the random dudes who escaped and aren't that good)...
I really like Cubans, because they all just have such a silky smooth style and are always just SO damn good.Comment

It's cool.
Who will be the first Cuban to a title (minus Gamboa... he's obviously going to get one first... his current fake WBA title doesn't count though)?
I think Lara is on pace, but no one wants to fight him because he brings no money to a fight. Rigondeaux is tight, and could probably win now, but he has no fights, so no one is going out of their way to lose to a guy with 5 fights. Also, his career stalled with issues outside of the ring.
It'd be tight if it was some B level Cuban like Yordanis Despaigne that did it... He is the least impressive that I've seen so far (haven't seen Barthlemy).Comment

Lol, thanks I put 2 and 2 together and got that out of what he said.
Lol, I hope I'm not boring you with these questions. I just REALLY like the Cubans.
Despaigne... I don't see the talent. I hear he isn't as technical (which is evident when he fights), but he has power to make up for it. His power isn't deadly enough to carry him on the top level. I don't think he even wins a world title.Comment
