If Devon Alexander ever wants to be an ATG he should take page from Floyd Mayweather.

Pac refused cuz JMM was asking for 50/50.

This was after Pac had beat Oscar. So basically JMM was pricing himself out.

And, this is going to be my last response to this matter. This is not a Pac thread.

Business side yea makes sense to duck Kotelnik cuz he would get beat again.

However, legacy wise it will hurt.

Do you even think Alexander has the potential to be an atg? I dont see that kind of potential in him at all i wasnt even impressed when he fought Urango.

Alexander said if Bradley fight can't happen then bring on Ortiz. I seriously can't say that Ortiz is clearly a better tougher opponent than Kotelnik.

            So is apples and oranges.

            Why bring up Pac?
are you crazy? who told you that bull**** that manny offered marquez the immediate rematch, marquez always repeats in his interviews that he was chasing manny after the first fight.about the third fight i heard that they didn't agree on money split. how you know he priced his self out? maybe manny offered very little amount of money to marquez and marquez refused.

anyway ortiz is tougher than Kotelnik.

how does it hurt his legacy?

official records have him beating kotelnik. it was a close fight that could have gone either way. i was shaking my head at the television because kotelnik didnt throw enough punches. typical european fighter. another thing, it cant be called a duck when you went 12 rounds with the guy.

it sounds as ****** as the idiots who say pac is ducking marquez.

NEW RULE- YOU CANT SAY A FIGHTER IS DUCKING SOMEONE WHO HE HAS ALREADY FACED.

you're a fan, so you think like a fan. If you were a fighter or one who is in charge of guiding a fighter, you would think like one. you would choose to rematch kotlenik instead of doing the right thing both boxing & career wise & trying to make a fight with bradley or khan.

No point in fighting Kotelnik again. It proves nothing.

Hell yeah. If Alexander wanted to raise his stock with fans who don't think high of him he'd give Kotelnik a rematch. What do you mean that fight doesn't serve any purpose?

Over fighting the Number 1 140 Pounder (Bradley)?

Stop it Iceta. Hes not Mayweather. At 23 Mayweather was one of the best fighters on the planet. Alexander is no Floyd.

                    Did Berto rematch Collazo?

                    Did Marg rematch Williams?

                    Did Oscar rematch Tito?

                    Did Winky rematch Taylor?

Man it will have no bearing on Alexander's status or career.

"rasie his stock with fans". wouldnt beating Bradley do that?

I get what you're saying, but why fight Ortiz who is a hype job until he proves otherwise over a guy who a lot of people think beat you? Certainly doesn't gain any points with me.
