Ckickens quit, baby. This mothe****er was looking for a way to SURVIVE...so he could WIN.
When are you guys going to grasp that ?
You're questioning the wrong guy's guts...especially when we have guys like Tszyu, Tyson, & DeLaHoya around.
Okay, you have a pt. but DAYYYYMMMMNNN, that was so crooked! But, to be fair, I have to lay the blame where it goes, and thats with the ref. that allowed it. I've always liked weeks up til that point too.

If Weeks had DQ'd Chico...the cries of Weeks doing a poor job would be 10x louder than the ones we've been hearing about how he actually handled things.
Chico fans would be on here bitching about their man getting "robbed", & Castillo fans would be driven out of their minds by these "crybabies".
Chico's my boy....but it doesn't take a genius to see his defense blows & that he can be dropped.
However, I've said it before....his vulnerability is very much a weapon for him. Fighters find him easy to get to, & open themselves up..& he's the biggest hitter in the biz.
Last week I watched the fight again and as a Castillo fan I told myself I was going to watch it from a Corrales perspective...the guy is damn good and your right he is p4p the biggest hitter in the game...another thing, Chico was not nearly as hurt a couple times at the end of some of the rounds as I first had thought, he was getting tagged but he took a lot of shots better than I hade thought. (the left that hurt him and put him down was from a distance, not inside brawling)
I still cant help but too think what would have happened if he would have been given 3 more minutes against a weary Joel Casamayor.

I disagree wiht this...
If Weeks had dq'd Chico no one wopuld have said a word after the second knockdown...there wasnt a person alive that thought Chico had a shot after the second knockdown, I was with some Chico fans and I was in full celebration and they were crying in their beer, the fight was over...
No one had any inkling that Corrales was about to turn into John Elway.

I feel the same way..I've NEVER seen a fighter pull his piece out and throw it down (dropped it my ASS) that didnt mean it as the signal of "I give up". Too many fights have been stopped for doing that exact thing.

Wouldn't it have been easier for him (to stop the coming hurt, & save face at the same time) to just STAY DOWN ?
No one would have questioned his balls had he stayed down.
There's proof to what I'm saying - Chico unloaded when he got back up,& WON. A quitter would have never done that.

I agree with you 100%, to me that meant im done i dont want anymore of this. I still dont know why the fight wasnt stop, but Im not worried about, Im just hoping he doesnt try to do it again in the next fight.
