I think that Corrales will win the second fight and have an easier time of it than the first fight (lol, it couldn't get harder), but you can be damn sure this will be a PPV that I will order. In fact, it will probably be the next PPV that I order.

#2. I don't agree with that man, many people underrated the first fight and not many thought it would've been THAT good, this one has more hype cuz of ths first one..
#3. Awesome signature, I agree, most overrated PR fighter..he don't got **** on Gomez or Benitez
#4. How you been bro?
It's funny how everyone (not you) thinks Corrales will win easier this time..everyone says he will outbox Castillo, people talk about Chico like his a brilliant boxer...
from what I remember Corrales don't got the most skills, and he may have a body that is good for Castillo, but the way Corrales fights, he BRAWLS...
He couldn't outbox Freitas, he hardly beat Casamayor...etc.Last edited by Tha Greatest; 07-22-2005, 03:11 AM.

WTF I can't believe that there are people saying that Castillo couldn't finish off Corrales after getting time to rest. Castillo getting time to rest WTF I thought I saw Corrales's little ***** ass spiting out his mouth pice in order to get some time to rest. Castillo Knocked Corrales down twice, he didn't need time to rest. Corrales was the one granted half a ***in minute to rest. Castillo will kick Corrales's ass again.(Lets hope the reff dosn't give Corrales the W again.)

i thought corrales was the one hurt. why didnt castillo jump on him? was he hurt? what caused him to let corrales off the hook?
corrales didnt look like castillo hurt him to bad. not with the way corrales knocked his block off.good thing the ref stopped it.

OK, here is my take on this epic rematch. It is going to happen in the same style that the first one did, which really makes me grind my teeth in nervousness when I sleep. Diego said before the first fight they were gonna trade bombs and they did, he is saying he is gonna do the same thing this time around so there is no reason to think otherwise. With that being the case;
MY IDEAL SITUATION is that Diego hurts Castillo with a big shot before we can get to the later rounds and thus stops him before he takes too much punishment. Sadly, with the chin on Castillo I do not see this being the case.
MY PREDICTION is that it will be very similar to the first fight with Chico probably even hitting the deck again, and maybe sooner on then the tenth. But the bottom line is with Diego that he gets up, dusts himself off, and gets back to work. Fighters knock Chico down, but Chico knocks fighters out. That being said, Chico climbs off the canvas to win by KO in 11.
THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION is that on any given night these two guys are very, very, very, very, even fighters. And that it is real tough to say that one guy is just flat out better then the other (even if you are the most die hard Castillo fan like everybody on BoxingScene, or the most die hard Corrales fan like me-- and maybe DiegoFuego)-- so no matter when they get together it is gonna be a tough and competitive fight. I just think that while Castillo has a break' em down style, Diego is more of a one-punch stoppage kind of fighter. And when you have a guy like Chico who refuses to stay down even if it is in his best interest, you have to give his tools an ever-so-slight edge going in. But I would not be that suprised by either guy winning, and would not be ashamed if my guy lost to a warrior like Castilo. And whether Castillo fans say it or not, they feel just about the same way.
