Not that I have anything against Chico, but Corrales is one UGLY mother... And I'm sick of having those ugly avatars in my face.. so I hope Castillo wins.

Don't you find my logic solid?

You guys calling Corrales a "*****"....you're real morons, you know that ?

The mouthpiece move might have been "shady", even "cheap"...
but the guy did it in an effort TO SURVIVE & WIN.
If he was a "*****", he'd have never gotten up.

      Kostya Tszyu...quit like a *****.
      Tyson...quit like a *****.

Corrales was LOOKING TO WIN !

      I'm afraid you're the bitches.

Diego said before the first fight they were gonna trade bombs and they did, he is saying he is gonna do the same thing this time around so there is no reason to think otherwise. With that being the case;

MY IDEAL SITUATION is that Diego hurts Castillo with a big shot before we can get to the later rounds and thus stops him before he takes too much punishment. Sadly, with the chin on Castillo I do not see this being the case.

MY PREDICTION is that it will be very similar to the first fight with Chico probably even hitting the deck again, and maybe sooner on then the tenth. But the bottom line is with Diego that he gets up, dusts himself off, and gets back to work. Fighters knock Chico down, but Chico knocks fighters out. That being said, Chico climbs off the canvas to win by KO in 11.

THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION is that on any given night these two guys are very, very, very, very, even fighters. And that it is real tough to say that one guy is just flat out better then the other (even if you are the most die hard Castillo fan like everybody on BoxingScene, or the most die hard Corrales fan like me-- and maybe DiegoFuego)-- so no matter when they get together it is gonna be a tough and competitive fight. I just think that while Castillo has a break' em down style, Diego is more of a one-punch stoppage kind of fighter. And when you have a guy like Chico who refuses to stay down even if it is in his best interest, you have to give his tools an ever-so-slight edge going in. But I would not be that suprised by either guy winning, and would not be ashamed if my guy lost to a warrior like Castilo. And whether Castillo fans say it or not, they feel just about the same way.

I think your right for the most part...but Im a cAstillo guy so here is my take.

First off I think that when Deigo says he is going to throw down just like the first fight I think he means it 100%...this will be one of those rare remtaches where both men are willing to go back to hell to win the fight, rarely do you see a rematch as good as the first because who the **** wants to relive hell, these guys do and this fight weil be the exception.

I think Diego is smart for already preparing himself for war with Castillo, Castillo doesnt really have to prepare he knows nothing but war. If Diego were to try and outbox Castillo I believe that is sucicide he must brawl in close with JL. When Diego got knocked down it was when they were at a distance and Chico got caught coming from the outside-in wtih the left.

Goosen and Corrales believe there strategy was right to take as much out of Castillo early in the fight therefore JL would not have it in him too completely take over in the final rounds. The fight was razor thin but it was Castillo beginning to take control in the later rounds(so you can question if Goosne's strategy worked). With that said Goosen is not going to switch strategies, he knows boxing Castillo is fools gold and his fighter will pay for it both in energy used up and a late bum rush by Castillo (not too mention hard punches like the left hand that Corrales got knocked down with that he never saw).

As for the fight, **** I would love to say that Castillo is going to win for sure but I cant. For those Diego lovers who say Castillo has no shot, your full of **** and you should leave the site. This fight is a upickem, I obviously lean toward JL and a Chico guy would obviously lean toward Chico...but if you have a brain it is a u pickem fight period, no ifs, no ands, no buts, u pickem period.

This rematch is going to be special, we are looking at a carbon copy of the first and I am grateful that Diego is already preparing himself...it is the right move for him and the fans are going to benefit with a classic. JL, well we know what he brings and he doesnt need to talk about war...he is war and you dont beat war by being a ***** and potshotting from the outside-at least not this kind of war....so thanks diego-you are gonna make this fight great, in the end I just hope you finsish this classic on your back, oh and if you arent ready to get up after the refs count....then dont get up (no sideshows allowed ths time).

You should worry less about mouthpieces & more about just how dangerous Corrales is when he's hurt.

I really don't know who will win the rematch. Their last fight was too even. They both can, & will, hurt each other.

Corrales will ATTEMPT to box more....but will be unable to resist taking aim at Castillo's open dome.

well Jab, I'd do that, but I think that mouthpiece was his savior. Without it and tony weeks he'd have been ko'ed and none of this debating would be going on. I hope Corrales does attempt to BOX, since it's not his speciality. He'd better stick to slugging cause he's not going to outbox castillo. All that aside, this should be one hell of a fight, and I cant think of another that I look forward to more.

Nah...his quick thinking, & his two-fisted sledgehammers, saved the day for him.

The myth amongst a lot of fans out there is that all Chico has to do is box, well if he boxes he will most definately subject himslef to punches he does not see coming as opposed to an infight where you are prepared to take big shots.

We all know what Corrales looks like when he gets hit with punches he does not see or is not prepared for...a yo yo.

Chico's my boy....but it doesn't take a genius to see his defense blows & that he can be dropped.
However, I've said it before....his vulnerability is very much a weapon for him. Fighters find him easy to get to, & open themselves up..& he's the biggest hitter in the biz.

lol, you call it quick thinking (in a way, it was) I call it chicken and nothing to be proud of... Cant wait to see the rematch though; if it's half as good as the first then I wont complain (long as the ref. doesnt baby chico again..I'm good)
