Who Won The 11th Round In Dawson vs. Pascal?

Who was the fighter in the 11th round getting caught with uppercuts and other punches and looked like they were out on their feet? Who was the fighter who wasn't allowed to continue with a cut on his eye even though Vasquez and Vitali(they did stop this one but the cut was bad and they let it continue for a bit) had much worse cuts because the fight took place in Canada with shady officials. Why stop a fight when the outcome was about to change? Because they feared their Canadian fighter was about to get knocked the **** out?

Seems that way, Chad wanted to continue. Ive seen fights where a fighter said he cant see and the doctor says let it continue. And when Nate Campbell said he couldnt see, they were about to rush him back out there also. The fight had definitely changed some and who knows what would have happened. Canada wasnt having it.

Do you have any proof except gossip that the judge gave the 11th round to Pascal? I havent seen an ounce of proof.

Medved, the writers at ringside get copies of the master scorecard containing all three judges' scores.

Heck, some promoters' publicists even do this for fights that end in the first round -- handing out sheets of paper with nothing filled in the scorecards.

Dawson obviously but the only question that really matters is answered above. The judge was a moron and throws a bad light on it overall, but that happens in nearly every fight.

Remember Williams/Martinez? In a much, much, much closer fight than Dawson/Pascal one judge gave Williams nearly every round and from memory even gave the first to Williams. In a fight where it genuinely mattered (compared to this one where Pascal was very clearly the winner however you look at it), that judge was beyond bad. He was just plain corrupt and paid off.

Any doctor would have stopped that fight because the blood was not going to stop pissing out like that. Even when he was sitting down in his corner afterward you could see it seeping through the pads they had on it.

Yeah that Judge was obviously doing some home cooking there. At the end of the day it is irrelevant though. Pascal didn't need it.

As I said before in title fights with opponents from different countries they pick judges from different places also. That is there in the hope that at least two of the three judges would get it right, and they did.

As for the stoppage. Just take a look at that cut again. That cut was bad. Bad enough that it may come back and haunt him again in future fights.
