This fight lasts about 5 or 6 rounds.

Three rounds for Briggs to gas and two or three more for his corner to throw in the towel to stop the beating.

Not a bad fight. i know briggs gasses after like 3 rounds but for the first 3-4 rounds he will be a live opponent for vitali!! If vitali has aged any more than his last few performances then Shannon could have a chance to put some hurt on big klit. I still fancy vitali to get him out of there i nthe late rounds or win a very lope sided UD. Props to briggs for stepping up though.

Shannon briggs by 1st rd ko vitali moves his feet akward very early in his fights it takes him time to get his feet under him.
Look at some of the videos briggs just has to throw caution to the wind let it fly. Or he falls on his face in 5rds

Vitali's a *****. Why the hell is he taking on the guy who lost to Oleg Maskev of all people AND his brother is fighting Peter for ****t's sake. I know the heavyweight division is as unattractive as Goldie Hawn, but ****damn, the least they can do is give rematches to recent opponents who they've beat not **** opponents who ****** 3 years ago and suck even more today. Don't get me wrong, the Klit brothers are the best, but these two fights, especially the Briggs fights are a serious fcking joke. Fact.

When did that happen? Did you mean just some Russian guy? Maybe you were talking about Ibragimov?

Is this really the best opponent Vitali could find, someone 10 years past his prime, whom boxrec only rates #79 at Heavyweight? Did the other 78 fighters ranked above Briggs all turn Vitali down?

Wlad consistently fights top 10 fighters. Vitali did, too, until recently, but his last two opponents have been jokes. It's a shame, because he must be close to retirement, and instead of him going out in a blaze of glory, he's wasting his last few fights fighting nobodies and has-beens.

And this is after he (rightly) refused to fight his mandatory, Maskaev, last year on the grounds that no one wanted to see that fight! Oh the irony!

You want to take a bet? I give 2-1 odds, 10K of my point for your 5K.

Vitaly makes Briggs quit or knocks him out.

Briggs never lost Maskaev, you must be thinking of Rahman.
