I don't get it either. It's the same people that are still fans of Valero. Some can separate the sport aspect from the personal life aspect, I can't. Unless I am rooting for the guy to loose, I can't be rooting for a wife and child killer like Valero or rapist and thug like Tyson.

Tyson brought everything upon himself, "the media made him do it" just doesn't fly. There are plenty of famous people who are in front the cameras 24/7 and you don't see them beating their wifes and raping women and biting peoples' ears of.

I have seen a number of documentaries on his **** conviction and I am not convinced. If he really did commit that act then I would feel as you do. I did, actually, for a very long time. I am not convinced he did not do it either. I am on the fence about that issue, though I tend to think he was framed. That does not mean, however, that would trust him with my sister or my daughter (if I had one) or any other female I care about. As I mentioned, I am on the fence with that issue.

Without waxing too philosophical, I think that his team and those around him are as culpable for his behavior (minus the ****) as he is. He was as much a victim of his environment and of don king as he was a thug with serious social problems.

Now, though, he seems to be cognizant of many of his mistakes and is just trying to live peacefully.

I guess you have sympathy for child ******ers as well then, because most of them have been ******ed as well when they were young, so by your logic their actions are excusable. A lot of people are poor and grow up in violence, the overwhelming majority of them do not turn to violence against innocents.

I actually believe Tyson never ****d that chick. To this day he still denies it, and he already did his time, so its not like he has any reason to deny it...Hes never been shy about talking about the bad choices hes made.

Just because someone has made bad choices doesnt make them permanently a bad person. I like to see a person with a rough life that made poor choices change and became content and control in their life.

He has a long documented history of violence, especially against women. He beat his wife. He is crazy enough to bite someone's ear off. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to believe that he is capable of ****.

Just because someone denies something, doesn't mean he is telling the truth. It's one thing to admit to doing drugs and fighting men, and another thing to admit that you ****d a woman, hence he would never admit such a thing (infact, I don't think any rapist or child ******er ever admits they did anything wrong).

What is it with people defending this scum bag? Sure people can change, but he changed only because he was forced to - no money, no longer able to make money as a boxer, no one scared of him anymore.
