Well it's pretty obvious that the "Pascal won easily" crowd are not going to show an actual scorecard, because that would expose them. They were clearly swayed by the horrible announcers, the excellent Montreal crowd and their ADHD affliction which renders them unable to remember anything more than the last 30 seconds of each round.

Fight night I had Dawson winning 6-5, with the 11th being 10-8, so 105-103 for Dawson. Some people seem unaware that the 11th round actually did get scored and did count, but that's the way it works when an accidental headbutt stops the fight. You do score the partial 11th and count it. Fortunately the round was very easy to score, unless you are the cheating Canadian judge, who gave it to Pascal!!!

        1. Pascal (harder punches)
        2. Dawson (Pascal again concentrated on throwing haymakers, but 95% whiffed)
        3. Pascal (easy round for Pascal, Dawson barely threw any punches)
        4. Dawson (Pascal basically didn't throw any punches until there was 9 seconds, yes 9 seconds, left in the round when he landed a big right hand. The punch did not hurt Dawson, who had controlled the preceding 2:51 of the round, but it was enough to send the crowd and clueless announcers into hysterics. This round went to Pascal on every ADHD afflicted ****** watching.)
        5. Dawson (Very close round. Dawson landed hard combos on a covered up Pascal and controlled the center of the ring.)
        6 Dawson (easily Dawson's round)
        7. Pascal (Dawson might have been hurt early in this round, although an exhausted Pascal ran away like a scared rabbit for the last 1:30 of the round. In rewatching the fight, I am really struck by how much running Pascal did and how much stalking without punching Dawson did.)
        8. Pascal (Dawson was hurt with 50 seconds remaining, and was clearly holding on tight in an attempt to recover)
9 Pascal (Pascal unloads with hard punches for the first 30 seconds. Some land. None of them hurt Dawson, although Lampley is talking like Dawson is about to go down. Pascal is exhausted after this 30 seconds of haymakers and now Dawson is firmly in control. A lazy, ****** Dawson inexplicably stops punching for the last minute or so.)
        10. Pascal (Pascal is obviously gassed at this point, yet he still manages to outwork a lazy, ****** Dawson. Dawson is not throwing punches, although he doesn't look half as tired as Pascal. Dawson is doing the old "stalk, but don't throw" thing.)
        11. Dawson (Dawson batters an exhausted Pascal for much of the round. He then takes a breather, which I don't mind, since he was simply teeing off for the first minute or so and that is not sustainable. Dawson then lands the best punch of the fight with 1:22 left, and Pascal clearly felt it. 22 seconds later, an accidental headbutt stops the fight).

Upon rewatching, I had Pascal winning 6-5 (105-104). I again came away with the idea that this was a close fight which could have gone either way. I also came away with the idea that Dawson should be heavily favored in any rematch. All he had to do was throw more punches and he would have won many of the rounds he simply threw away, and probably would have forced Pascal into a pace he clearly could not keep. Dawson probably wins by late stoppage or wide UD in a rematch.

About the cheating Canadian judge... There was one Canadian judge, and he did his promoter/paymaster proud by turning in a completely ridiculous 108-101 scorecard. Just how ridiculous was his card? HE GAVE THE 11th ROUND TO PASCAL. That's right, in a round where an exhausted Pascal maybe landed one punch and where he was worked over like a heavy bag, the corrupt Canadian judge scored it 10-9 for Pascal.

A scorecard of 106-103 for Pascal is understandable, although it is right on the margins of a reasonable score. 108-101 is just ******. The Canadian judge was clearly cheating though, so we can't accuse him of being ******, just corrupt.

        Some random notes:
        1. Dawson had long stretches of inactivity
        2. Pascal also had long stretches of inactivity
        3. Pascal did an awful lot of running and generally speaking Dawson controlled the center of the ring and did a lot of stalking (stalking without punching though)
        4. Dawson should be heavily favored in a rematch
        5. the fight was close and competitive and anyone who thought otherwise was clearly swayed by the crowd and the announcers
        6. Pascal was fading fast in the later rounds and was very lucky it was stopped by an accidental headbutt

I remember giving Dawson 4 rounds. You could argue that he won 5 rounds but not anymore imo.

I gave him four rounds, and I felt sorry for him after the 8th. I tried to give him rounds but could only give him 4. I think five would have been too much. 8-3 for Pascal was also acceptable.

                  Based on what ?

I gave Dawson 4 rounds and you gave him 5.

I said you could argue Dawson won 5 rounds but it would be very hard to argue him winning anymore than that.

I personally don't know how anyone could have Dawson ahead after 11 rounds and i'm a big fan of Dawson.

Find a boxing gym and bring your score card to a trainer, he will explain to you what's wrong with it, Pascal won that fight and it's not even close...

Theres no doubt that Pascal deserved it no matter what.

Dawson should of thrown more, simple as.
