dawson didn't have a good performance, he was off, i'm sure he'll be back he wasn't dominated, probably a little butt hurt, but that's pride.

my thing is, if he wanted a fight and didn't like pascal's movement? then why did he follow? how come he didnt' change the distance, the location form outside to inside, the geography of the fight in order to get what he wanted, pascal did, he just had a different game plan.

you think someone like aaron pryor, hagler, hopkins, marciano, would let a opponent have his way the whole fight. those guys never let their opponents have their way for round, sometimes not even a moment. dawson needs some of that philosophy if he wants someone to stand and trade with him, or get his way.

he needs to open his mind and not get into a negative mind set, pascal could be dawson's nemisis. a vernon forrest to mosely, a gerald mccellan to julian jackson, a chiquita gonzalez to michael carbajal, only a rematch and maybe a trilogy will let us know.............

once again Pascal owned him. Pascal made Dawson think that he wasnt going to run/box, and put him out of his game. Dawson is a cry baby and will get destroyed in the re-match..

You let your opponent control the phase almost in the whole fight and you just whine like a *****? Get over it. Learn from your mistakes and use it to win the next time around.

I understand the he is upset for the stoppage. But it is his own fault that he lost. I he dont let Pascal control the fight, the stoppage might become a favor for him.

i lost alot of respect for dawson as a fan, not because he lost but because he keeps making different excuses about the loss. he should take the loss like a man and stop crying about it.

bottom line is that both men fought a good fight...i guess dawson forgets about how badly he was holding on for dear life a few times in the fight after getting rocked by pascal.....dawson had good moments about he never went for the kill after clearly stunning pascal......Manny Steward said it all night, Dawson could finish Pascal off....but he's just not pulling the trigger......

Funny how Dawson says i'm not making no excuses.....but all we are hearing are excuses......And the claim that the head butt was intentional.....dawson's camp needs to chill with that......clearly they both collided heads UNINTENTIONALLY!!! that's to be expected between a southpaw & a righty!!! Dawson 's camp hould be more upset with the fact the "bad" chad didn't stay busy in the rounds preceding the 11th.....

so Chad man-up!!!! Go back to the gym...you are NOT the top dawg in the division....In my opinion......after watching these guys fight and watching Tavoris Cloud & Glen Johnson last week.....I feel Cloud is better than Chad & Pascal!!!

i hate when some dumb fan who doesnt know boxing calls moving, running.

i hate it even more when some fighter cant accept he lost and says his oponent was running from him when in reality he was outboxing him.

but i really, really hate when some hypocrite ass fighter who spent his career moving all of a sudden calls someone a runner just cuz in that particular fight he was looking to go to to toe.

im dissapointed chad didnt perform, but **** happens. anyone can have an off night, thats part of boxing. no reason to talk all this bull**** and take away from his oponents victory though, dawson should just give pascal credit and not talk all this ****.

As a Dawson fan I must say...He needs to move on. Rematch should be fun.

Chad runs like a chicken in almost all of his fights. Who is he to talk. He only came foreward because that was the game plan and they would've had no chance if they danced around all night.

Chad has got a point,but next time he should prepare for this style....If his team would have watched his last few fights,they would realize he fights this way since moving up to the LHW division....
just get him in the rematch and redeem yourself.

however, prepared or not he needs to adjust during the fights better.

at least midway he stopped bending over to his left during pascals flurries

and started using his check hook i was asking for since round one

his mindset in the interview was he was gonna fight his fight

in another country, you cant do that. he should have known he had to be active and dominate every round
