Dawson have to think about the fact Pascal hurt him in 2/3 occasions very clear;but most important it's the fact that Pascal was out of gas after the 8th round and Dawson wasn't able to put him to sleep;PLEASE CHAD PLEASE-FIRST LOSS,KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED.

if i remember right "run like a chicken" is the exact words Johnson used to describe Dawson

what i got from what chad said, was that, chad needs a stationary opponent who makes for an easier target, in order for him to win. if that was the case they'd put them in a ring that was the size of phone booth. pascal was using the whole ring, it's dawson's job to counter that and make him fight, instead he let pascal fight his fight, and dawson followed all night long.

pascal got his shots off first, and that was really what was the start of bad things for dawson. pascal getting off first lead him to be able to fight at his distance and his pace, and he picked the spots where he was most effective at fighting and didn't give dawson anything clean to take advantage of, not until the 11th.

dawson needed to set the tone, and take pascal out his game, out of his rythm; dawson did nothing of the sort. as a matter of how i saw it, dawson didn't have a plan, or at least a viable plan, he didn't make any adjustments as to how pascal was fighting him and he didn't force pascal to fight, dawson didn't look real comfortable in there, not like usual, as far as being in control or leading in a fight.

bottom line, at least make adjustments when something isnt working or at least have other plans ready to deploy if needed. it looked like there was just one mind set in chads fight game and his corner. i mostly heard EMM keep saying, " he's dead tired" over and over again, all to find out, he (pascal) was able to suck up enough to pull shots and combos off enough to win the rounds. also chad let him off the hook more times than i can count. if pascal was that tired, then chad should've been in the inside working his body giving him bloody urine for the next week. but he didn't, he played one game, one look, one angle, same distance, and it didn't work. dawson should've mixed up his game, hope he learns for his futures sake.

I can understand why he is mad though, he had Jean Pascal ready whenever he wanted him and Pascal headbutts him and he losses for the first time. it was awful convenient for Pascal to have that headbutt in place in a round where he was getting his ass kicked too I might add..

fact is Chad had the fight in the bag and in that next 12th round had he dropped Pascal he could have tied up or taken over the fight but he wasn't given that chance, it's a win that looks very ugly for Pascal, leaves a VERY bitter feeling so I understand Chad, nobody wants to lose that way for the 1st time..

then it's like how can you be classy through it? with all the emotions he feels of disappointment and competitiveness of course he's going to be mad, this is a man who believed he was the best and is now forced to believe different and it's all due to a damn foul, not to mention Pascal was mainly on the defense the whole entire night even in moments where he didn't have to he settled with a quick late burst to get the crowd going and mid round spurts that looked good but punch for punch not every punch landed..

overall I feel for Chad because I feel like even with a cut that bad if he wanted to put it all on the line in this 1 fight he should have gotten that chance, fighter safety is always the most important thing no doubt but for Chad it couldn't get any bigger than the situation that night in the ring, his whole career was for fights like that so he should have been able to keep going..

Gatti had worse, Marciano had worse and even Valero had a monster gash on his forehead man it's been done before, they should have let him continue imo because it wasn't like he was losing and out on his ffet he was actually about to win by aTKO at that rate and that chance was just snatched out of his hands..
