I can't believe some here think that the fight should have continued. That was a terrible cut. Even Dawson didn't complain about the fight being stopped, and he complained about EVERYTHING.

The cut was huge, but that's not the type of fight (Championship) and situation (Dawson coming on very strong in the 11th) you stop.

You stop Ward-Kessler, not Pascal-Dawson.

I just hope Pascal doesn't lose the titles before the rematch, if he faces Bute, he will...

I don't know how anybody can give that fight to Pascal he didn't land anything clean most of the time. Plus he used a blatant headbutt to stop the fight when he was probably about to be KTFO. I can't believe this crap.

Thanks for the input, but my opinion still stands. I DVR'd the fight so I'll watch it again in the morning. Maybe I'm too drunk but I don't feel like Pascal won right now. Just nice to talk about something besides two boxers in the WW division that will never agree to fight.

Chad may had landed more punches, but a majority were the pawing, light jab types...the main stat that sticks out is

90 PP for Pascal

77 PP for Dawson

Come on now Pascal was up and would have won on the Card regardless, Dawson need a KO and that is what he was going for, he caught Pascal with a great shot that Froze Pascal but Dawson didn't jump on it

is this lose Dawson can't bounce back front? **** NO! I certainly didn't walk away from this fight thinking "It is no way Dawson can beat Pascal"

but Pascal earned this win and he wasn't the one that headbutt Dawson, it was a clash of head caused more by Dawson

I expect the HATE over the next few days and the "Dawson Is Overrated" stuff which is fine, Dawson is still a good young fighter IMO and he will bounce back from this Lose and you will see a different Dawson in a Rematch

but give Pascal his credit, he fought very well, Dawson just need more of a Killer Instinct, he does everything so well but he is missing that one SIGNATURE thing about him, a Signature Punch or something
