As an all-time great, lb4lber....Holyfield is above all of them, however.
is your thought process including his cruiser career? becuase its hard to figure he's better p4p but not as heavyweight..just curious how you figure that.

also-your list is that of a genious
yes...that's what I'm thinking.
He was so awesome at Cruiserweight....& built himself into a heavyweight, and a very successful one at that.
His inconsistency at heavyweight is what hurts him.
Someone said he beat prime Bowe.....& yes, he did...but only 1 out of 3.
1-1 with Moorer. 0-2 (**** the judges) with Lewis......

I love Holy, but he beat a Fat Daddy Bowe only. I get a little tired of people saying Lewis beat an old Holy. He was coming off two wins against Tyson and the rematch with Moorer. If Lewis beat an old Holy, then Holy beat an old Tyson. Argument offet..and Lewis was 2-0 vs Holy....agreed,f ck the judges. Holyfield will be more beloved than Lewis as time passes, but I'll take Lennox overall.
Out of all of the heavyweights simliar to Evanders prime, where would you rank him?
Rid**** Bowe
Mike Tyson
Lennox Lewis
James "Buster" Douglas
Donovan "Razor" Ruddock
George Foreman
Michael Moorer
Tommy Morrison
Ray Mercer
Where would you put him on that list?
If we're talking head to head you have to put Bowe ahead of him. Bowe proved the better fighter in 2 of the 3 matches. I think Tyson in his prime ko's Holyfield as does Foreman.
Now if we are talking alltime HW rankings the list looks like this:
Foreman
Lewis
Holyfield
Tyson
Edit: p4p Holy's on top for the reasons Jabs mentions.

I agree that Bowe could be considered better since he did beat Evander 2 out of 3 times but its a tough call. I guess Evander is better overall because of opponents he beat. Bowe wasnt a bad heavyweight in his day at all. He was a great inside fighter and had awsome punching angles.
Foreman- awesome in his prime, oldest heavyweight champ of all time
Lewis- Beat everyone he has ever faced by rematch, ducked nobody
Evander- although he has lost alot, he still fought great opposition
Tyson- youngest heavyweight champion, the ultimate fighting machine in his prime
Holyfield didn't lose much until the end of his career. He beat just about everyone he fought, too, until the end. He would have beaten Lewis had he been five years younger, as well.
I'd go Foreman, Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, personally.

So true, I'll always consider Holy the "cruiser king"..no matter who comes and goes in the future.
