He doesn't even have to win it. If he beats Dirrell while Bute beats Brinkley, he jumps way ahead of him in terms of quality of opposition beaten.

While he's in the Super 6 semi-final, Bute will be reduced to facing a Super 6 eliminated fighter or Dawson (Dawson would put him in the top 5, but beating him is a long shot).

If he wins the Super 6 without a loss he should be no less than #3-5 on every P4P list.

Bute is the biggest threat to Ward at 168, in fact I would pick Lucian to win if they ever fight in any kind of neutral venue. However, Ward is the clear cut number one. Andre has the better the better resume, by far the biggest and best win (Kessler), and IMO Lucian was knocked out only 3 fights ago.

Bute is not a runner, i can't wait to see Bute dominate Ward !
My point is Ward has never been in a suck a tight situation as Bute was in the first Andrade fight and the first and second Cute And Andrade fights are two completely differente fight, no way you can compare the two, that is like saying Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. was better then Taylor because he dominated him and knocked him out easily in the rematch.

How can argue that Chavez wasn't better than Taylor? He has two KO victories over him. He's obviously going to be ranked much higher than Taylor.

The winner of Ward/Dirrell, if they ever fight. Only way Bute passes him is if he beats Dawson, or Super 6 winner, which is probably the winner of Ward/Dirrell.

Kessler > Andrade. That's for sure.
