yeah it is kind of a debate that will go on forever...effective or noneffective aggressiveness...
I guess it is just the norm to give it to the guy who does more in the round...but keep in mind...Taylor threw more and landed a bit more in the early rounds...he just didn't land the power shots...in the end, the rounds should go to the guy who at least tried to win it...
but I still felt the fight was a draw

Close fight I just gave it to Taylor but a round. Draw wouldnt have got me upset either but I thought Jermaine just pulled it off.

The only real beef I got about the fight is the people who say Taylor won the first 7,8 or 9 rounds easy. The first 8 rounds were all close which I had split 4 rounds a piece. The 9th round was close but I thought Hopkins did a little better than Taylor and the last 3 rounds Hopkins completely took control. The majority of the fight was close with the exception of rounds 1 and 2 which Taylor won and rounds 10-12 which Hopkins won.

"in boxing nothin is worse then noneffective agressiveness "
Not true.....
It's worse to be doing NOTHING.
If you do nothing, you get nothing.
At least if you're aggressive....you get some credit for trying.

actually, there are a couple of things worse..one of them being doing absolutely NOTHING for 8 freaking rd's...assuming you can ko somebody, or win a fight by winning nothing but the championship rds. I think thats not only much worse, but over-assuming and boring as hell!
