This is not about "cotto hate" you moron's.

Nor is it about pedigree, because Cotto is the better all around fighter.

This is about primacy and chronology. If this was the Cotto of 2008 who fought Tony, I would say Cotto by murder.

But this is not the same Cotto and Jr. is entering his prime. It will be a bad night for Cotto if this fight happens and he'll be embarrassed.

Ill say this from a neutral point.
One thing I have been noticing is many Mexicans discrediting their own fighters.

Its like the PR MEX rivalry has gotten under their skin and lately they have been "dogging" their own fighters instead of backing them.
My guess is this.
They hate the PR's so much that they discredit their own fighters so that if they lose they can say "he was a bum anyway" on the other hand if he winsthey can say', "Ha PR's lost to a not so great Mex".
They do all of this while hating on the PR fighters..
