This **** is just false... what rican on here including myself say that this guy was a legit match. 99% of us are saying Cotto by either a brutal as whipping or IMO a boxing lesson much like he did Marg, except for the entire fight. Cotto is a methodical fighter, its why he doesn't do well against pressure he doesn't have time to think, he gets flustered and sloppy. Chavez is going to come in straight forward, but I doubt he'll throw nearly as many punches as Margarito and I doubt even more he'll be able to take the amount of damage Margarito was able to take. Yes, he is younger and taller but I Chavez is a inside fighter, I don't see him getting passed Cotto's STIFF jab that he'll simply be walking into all night. Cotto late KO/TKO 10 or 11.

One final thing, Cotto is taking this fight because of the money. Cotto's other two best options were Pac or Margarito, and they are fighting each other. Chavez DEFINITELY is more popular than Marg was when he fought Cotto and that fight did 500k buys. Cotto is an even bigger name now, he's CHAVEZ JR which brings casual appeal as well simply because of his daddy. Add in the Mex vs. PR rivalry and you got a big money fight and a relatively safe match up for Cotto. He's fought enough big names to garner his own A side match up, sure its not going to do 1.5 million but I can see this fight hitting 500-750k buys which is probably 5-6 million for Cotto. He sure as **** isn't making that money against Sergio, Berto... Possibly in a Mosley rematch, but I'd still think Chavez is a bigger draw than Shane especially after the Mayweather loss.
