Povetkin's ducking has reached such heights (or is it depths?) that he's now having his fights in secret and hoping that no one finds out about them so that he can try and cover up the fact that he's supposed to be a professional boxer.

I feel bad for Seldon. I know how that sounds to you guys, but... I honestly believe he realized his career wasn't going to recover from the 90s, so what he is doing now..

I really don't want to say this, even if this forum is famous for speculation and accusation. But I honestly believe, after seeing Seldon fight in Atlantic City, and spending time with him, that he is being paid to pad the resume of up and coming fighters. I'm certain of it.

I saw him fight Kevin Johnson in Atlantic City. Before you knock Seldon, try to consider Johnson against Vitali. Listen, Seldon got knocked down, and... it was suspect. It was ridiculous. Especially as- again, Believe it or don't - Seldon seemed as if he could take off Johnson's head if he wanted. I firmly believe Star Boxing hired Seldon as a sort of minor stepping stone- ex-champion, fought Tyson, etc.- either that, or Seldon is just really like Ric Flair when he collapses to the canvas.

I got to hang out with Seldon a little last year. Which is what makes this hard to suggest, even though I really believe it. He was sweet, genial, friendly, humble. He said he was through boxing, and was training his son to "be a champion". Obviously you need funds to train someone full-time. I believe Bruce Seldon is coming in to pad the resume of boxers who people desperately want to be champions. Povetkin and Johnson are not going to be champions.

Anyway, I know people will think I'm just conspiracy-happy or something. The truth is, I have put years into studying the sport, the science, and the dynamics of boxing, just like alot of you have. If you saw this closely, and you weren't drinking, you might come to the same conclusion I have.

they don't give a dam about who was fighting nor the outcome.they just want to see if the event made alittle money so it or someone can get taxed.

it's already been revealed it was set up by Atlas.

Who cares though really? Not much different than what goes on in some training camps. Guys are hired to fight and some times, there is no headgear.

Famous example is Sugar Ray Leonard when he came back leading up to Marvin Hagler. Leonard fought supposedly several full 12 round fights, with ref, no headgear, unofficially and unsanctioned. This was all very hush hush.
