Angulo is ****** for not taking the money, but he's smart because he knows anyone that can move will **** on him and embarrass him back to mexico!!!... Gary Shaw has done a wonderful job of matchmaking for Angulo over his career and fighting Martinez would career suicide and Perro knows it. Perro cant fight REAL boxers, who realize that boxing is more leg and body movement vs just standing in there in a phone booth and trading blows.... thats why its called sweet science and perro knows nothing about that and hes very slow and only wants to fight statues...

Angulo.... ready or not, turned down a hefty paycheck. I'm certain that Shaw would be more interested in a showdown (for far less money) against bundrage or even Cotto. It's about the title and longterm earning power.

If Angulo gets schooled by Martinez (and he will get schooled), then everyone on this board would be on his ass calling him an overhyped and exposed figther and HBO would lose interest (can anyone say Victor Ortiz). He already got his free pass against Cintron.

At the end of the day...it says more about his own confidence as a fighter and that of his team.
