To those comparing this incident with the Lewis/Resto scandal, it's a completely different situation. Lewis actually removed padding from the glove. That is in no way comparable to putting an old knuckle pad in a fighter's hand wrap.
The thing thats so frustrating about this, is that Gabe Montoya wrote an article about this a week after the initial hearing in Feb. 10th and I've been screaming this from the rooftops ever since.

Yet its taken a full year of exposing Rafael, Iole and a bunch of other irresponsible "journalists" to finally get the real story to surface.

I ask myself once in a while when this subject comes up.. why would capatillo put plaster inserts in margarito's gloves without his consent. it isn't his legacy after all, it isn't his career or his record.

it seems highly unlikely for a man to deceive his own fighter in such a way.

not even hand creams are supposed to be smothered on knuckle pads.. nothing is.
it always amazes me that you guys cant understand that.

if he had hand creme on his hands it wouldn't of been a large amount.. so much that it chips off. it wouldn't of chipped off since it was fresh either.

so you are saying that this fresh gause pad made contact with javiers skin.. and it seeped into the knuckle pad underneath and thus the reason why there was a large amount of the substance on the wrap and blood?

There was no plaster. If there was the commision would have said so and released the pads and evidence to the media. margarito is innocent and is being victimized for no reason.

Regardless of what the hardcore Margo fans want to twist it, plaster or no plaster they should not be anything in the wrapping that shouldn't be there.

Flip the words or read into it whatever was there should not been there. And Arum is heading this charge which he is by far not the poster boy for being honest.

A professional fighter is responsible for his corner, he pays them I don't buy that story from Capetillo one bit
