That is commonplace in many things including hand creams.

I'll be there's some calcium and sulfur under my computer right now.

I just realized this was a Thomas Hauser article.

        No wonder its stands out.

Just another reason why ole' **** Buffman is a Hauserian.

if this were true, that you couldn't see the inserts w/o actually opening the knuckle pads, then yeah margarito could really be innocent.

i also find it hard to believe that tony wouldve been doing this in cohorts w/ his trainer for so many fights. im not sure he'd be that foolish to do it over and over again w/o the fear of being caught and ruining his career.

but the thing is, i think they found the traces inside the knuckle pad, which was supposed to be fresh gauze.

That's a good article and gives a nice broad view of the situation.

To those comparing this incident with the Lewis/Resto scandal, it's a completely different situation. Lewis actually removed padding from the glove. That is in no way comparable to putting an old knuckle pad in a fighter's hand wrap.

the fresh gauze is handled by someone right?

someones hands make direct contact with the gauze?

Thomas Hauser is a great writer. He always gets the facts and presents them in a convincing way.

I you're in doubt why something happened always check if Hauser has made a piece on it.

Still both cases involves tampering with the weapons (fists).
